T. J. Jones
Tai-ler "T. J." Fitzgerald Jones (born July 19, 1992) is a former American-Canadian professional American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Notre Dame. High school career Jones attended Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Georgia. He was named ''MaxPreps.com'' second-team All-American as senior in 2009. He finished his senior season with 76 receptions for 1,399 yards and 18 touchdowns, which earned him all-state honors, while helping Gainesville get to the Georgia state championship game for the first time since 1982. He caught 81 passes for 979 yards as junior in 2008. Considered a four-star recruit by ''Rivals.com'', he was rated as the 19th best wide receiver in the nation. Andre Fitzgerald Jones (May 15, 1969 – June 22, 2011) was an American football linebacker who played for one season in the National Football League in 1992 for the Detroit Lions. 2020 CFL Season
The 2020 CFL season would have been the 67th season of modern-day Canadian football. Officially, it would have been the 63rd season of the Canadian Football League. It was originally scheduled to begin on June 11; on April 7, the start of the season was delayed to begin no sooner than July due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada. The CFL planned to obtain financial assistance from the federal government. In May, the CFL delayed the season to no sooner than September, and announced that the Grey Cup was to be played as a home advantage game rather than as a neutral site game in Regina, Saskatchewan, as originally planned.
