T.M. Thomas Isaac
Travancore Mathew Thomas Isaac (born 26 September 1952) is an Indian politician and economist, who served as the Minister for Finance and Coir of the Indian state of Kerala and a central committee member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist). He represented the Alappuzha constituency in the Kerala Legislative Assembly. During his tenure as a member of the Kerala State Planning Board, he was in charge of the Peoples Planning in Kerala. He also served as the Finance Minister of Kerala from 2006 to 2011 and 2016 to 2021. Biography The son of T. P. Mathew and Saramma Mathew, Isaac obtained a PhD from the Centre for Development Studies. First Pinarayi Vijayan ministry is the Council of Ministers headed by Pinarayi Vijayan that was formed after the Left Democratic Front (LDF) won the 2016 Kerala Legislative Assembly elections. The Kerala Sahitya Akademi or Academy for Malayalam literature is an autonomous body established to promote the Malayalam language and Malayalam literature, literature. People's Plan Campaign, held in 1996 in Kerala State, was an experiment in decentralization of powers to local governments with focus on local planning. Kerala State lies in the south-west part of India. In India's Ninth Five-Year Plan, each state within the national federation was expected to draw up its own annual plan and the People's Plan was an offshoot of it.
