T-max
T-Max (), stylized T-MAX or T.max, was a South Korean pop music group formed in 2007 under the label 2Step Entertainment (later Planet 905). The group began as a trio, where the "T" in its name was derived from the words "triple" and "trinity". T-Max released an album, an EP, five singles, some of which have songs different from its title, and several soundtrack singles for television shows such as '' Boys Over Flowers'', '' Detectives in Trouble,'' and ''Master of Study''. Its members have pursued individual acting gigs in dramas, sitcoms, and musicals. History T-Max began with three members: Kim Joon, Shin Min Chul and Park Yun Hwa. Kim Joon
Kim Joon (born Kim Hyung-joon on February 3, 1984 in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi, South Korea) is a South Korean rapper and actor who rose to stardom with his portrayal of one of the famous F4 members in the 2009 hit drama '' Boys Over Flowers''. Career Kim Joon made his entertainment debut with the boyband T-Max in 2007, as a rapper and a songwriter for the group. In 2009, Kim became popular after playing the role of F4 member "Song Woo-bin" in the hit Korean drama '' Boys Over Flowers''. Together with his band, their song entitled "Paradise" was featured in the first edition of the ''Boys Over Flowers'' soundtrack. Other songs of T-Max that were featured in the subsequent editions of the ''Boys Over Flowers'' soundtrack were "Say Yes," "Wish You're My Love", "Fight The Bad Feeling," and "Bang Bang Boom". Hyuna
Kim Hyun-ah (born June 6, 1992), better known by the mononym Hyuna (stylized HyunA), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper and model. She debuted as a member of the girl group Wonder Girls in February 2007. After leaving the ensemble shortly after, Hyuna subsequently left JYP Entertainment and joined the girl group 4Minute, under Cube Entertainment. 4Minute debuted in June 2009 and went on to become one of the most popular girl groups in the country. 2AM ( ko, 투에이엠) is a South Korean boy band, that consists of Jo Kwon, Lee Chang-min, Lim Seul-ong and Jeong Jinwoon. The band was formed by JYP Entertainment through the Mnet documentary ''Hot Blood'', which spawned the eleven-member boy band One Day; 2AM primarily perform ballad songs while their brother group 2PM performed more dance-focused music. With the addition of Changmin from Big Hit Entertainment, the group was co-managed by JYP and Big Hit from 2008 to 2014. They officially debuted on July 11, 2008, on KBS' ''Music Bank'', performing their debut single "This Song". The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. Boys Over Flowers
, is a Japanese ''shōjo'' manga series written and illustrated by Yoko Kamio and set in Tokyo, Japan, and the fictional "Eitoku Academy" (an elite school for children from rich families). Conscription In South Korea
Conscription in South Korea has existed since 1957 and requires male citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 to perform compulsory military service. Women are not required to perform military service, but they may voluntarily join the military. Establishment The basis for military conscription in South Korea is the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, which was promulgated on 17 July 1948. The constitution states in Article 39, "All citizens shall have the duty of national defense under the conditions as prescribed by Act." Launched on October 30, 2007, it is based in Edgewater, New Jersey, and is owned and operated by its parent company 6Theory Media. ''Allkpop'' is one of the most trafficked K-pop news sites, with over seven and half million readers per month. In its list of useful websites, ''The Korea Herald'' called it the "fastest news breaker" for K-pop. Despite the praise, some detractors accused the website for inciting racism and xenophobia towards Koreans, and Southeast Asians, by Korean netizens itself, exacerbated by the economic differences between those two regions which is a primary cause of contention.
