T-Shirt were a short-lived English pop duo which consisted of songwriter Miranda Cooper and actress Chloé Treend. They released one single in 1997; a cover of the Hot Chocolate song "You Sexy Thing". This and the version by Clock were released at almost the same time as the 1997 re-issue of the Hot Chocolate original. "You Sexy Thing" was a success, reaching number five in New Zealand, number six in Australia, number 10 in Belgium (Ultratip) and number 63 in the United Kingdom. Miranda Eleanor De Fonbrune Cooper (born 1975) is an English singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer and television presenter. Miranda Cooper has worked in the music industry since 1996 when she gained her first recording contract. In popular music, a cover version, cover song, remake, revival, or simply cover, is a new performance or recording by a musician other than the original performer or composer of the song. The group had at least one hit song every year on the UK Singles Chart from 1970 to 1980. "You Sexy Thing" is a song recorded by British group Hot Chocolate. It was written by lead singer Errol Brown and bass guitarist Tony Wilson, and was produced by Mickie Most. The song was released in October 1975 as the second single from their second album, ''Hot Chocolate'' (1975), and reached number two on the UK Singles Chart in November 1975, as well as number three on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 the following February. Clock (dance Act)
Clock were an English band primarily led by Stu Allan and Pete Pritchard and fronted by rapper Marcus Thomas (using the name ODC MC) and vocalist Lorna Saunders (using the name Tinka), though the single "Keep the Fires Burning" was sung by Georgia Lewis. They resembled many Eurodance acts of the time with a female singer and male rapper. Their earlier work was harder, similar to Cappella, but once they started releasing covers, their sound became more dance/pop oriented. Thomas left in 1998 to join the band Tzant, to be replaced by Ché-gun Peters. They had a string of top 40 hits with nine covers during the 1990s on the UK Singles Chart.
