Sławomir Peszko
Sławomir Konrad Peszko (; born 19 February 1985) is a Polish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Wieczysta Kraków. Peszko has won championships and cup competitions in his native Poland with Wisła Płock, Lech Poznań and Lechia Gdańsk. Between 2011–2015 Peszko played abroad starting with a move to Germany with 1. FC Köln in 2011, and had short spells in England with Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Italy with Parma. Peszko was a Polish international player for 10 years from 2008–2018 and represented Poland in the 2016 Euro’s and the 2018 World Cup. Career history Club career Peszko began his career in the youth ranks of Nafta Jedlicze before moving to Orlen Płock. The Poland national football team ( pl, Reprezentacja Polski w piłce nożnej) has represented Poland in men's international tournaments football competitions since their first match in 1921. 2019 Polish Super Cup
The 2019 Polish SuperCup was the 29th Polish SuperCup, an annual Polish football match played between the reigning winners of the Ekstraklasa and Polish Cup. It was held on 13 July 2019 between the 2018–19 Ekstraklasa champions Piast Gliwice and the 2018–19 Polish Cup winners Lechia Gdańsk at the home of the Ekstraklasa champions Piast, the Stadion Miejski in Gliwice. Piast played their first ever SuperCup match, while Lechia played their second ever and the first since 1983. This was the first SuperCup match since 2010 to not feature Legia Warsaw. 2018–19 Polish Cup
The 2018–19 Polish Cup was the sixty-fifth season of the annual Polish football knockout tournament. It began on 7 August 2018 with the first matches of the preliminary round and ended on 2 May 2019 with the final at PGE Narodowy. Winners of the competition would qualify for the qualifying round of the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League, however eventual winners Lechia Gdańsk had qualified for Europe through their league performance. Ståle Solbakken (born 27 February 1968) is a Norwegian professional football manager and former player who is the manager of the Norway national team. During his playing career, Solbakken was named 1995 Norwegian midfielder of the year, and he won the Danish Superliga championship with both Aalborg BK and Copenhagen (in 1999 and 2001 respectively). He played 58 matches and scored nine goals for the Norway national football team during the end of the 1990s, and represented Norway at the 1998 World Cup and 2000 European Championship tournaments.
