Sıla Gençoğlu (born 17 June 1980) is a Turkish singer-songwriter. She was born in Acıpayam, Denizli, and later moved to İzmir and then to Istanbul to finish her studies. She started to learn performing arts at high school. After studying jazz at Istanbul Bilgi University, she became a backing vocalist for Kenan Doğulu. Sıla released her self-titled debut album in 2007. The song "...Dan Sonra" became a number-one hit on Türkçe Top 20, and after critical and commercial success she released the albums '' İmza'' (2009), '' Konuşmadığımız Şeyler Var'' (2010), '' Vaveyla'' (2012), '' Yeni Ay'' (2014) and '' Mürekkep'' (2016) all of which were praised by fans and critics alike. Sıla Çağlar (born 26 February 2004) is a Turkish Women International Master (WIM) (2020). Biography In 2013, Sıla Çağlar won European School Chess Championship in the girls U09 age group. In 2016, she won Turkish Youth Chess Championship n the girls U12 age group. Sila Caglar repeatedly represented Turkey at the European Youth Chess Championships and World Youth Chess Championships in different age groups. In 2016, in Prague she won European Youth Chess Championship in the girls U12 age group and received Women FIDE Master (WFM) title. Sıla Çağlar two times played for Turkey team in the European Girls' U18 Team Chess Championships (2016-2017). Sıla Şahin-Radlinger (née Şahin, born 3 December 1985) is a German actress, best known for her portrayal of Ayla Özgül in the German soap opera ''Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten''. German ''Playboy'' Şahin-Radlinger posed nude for the German edition of ''Playboy'' magazine in May 2011, and became the first Turkish woman to appear on the cover of the magazine. The move upset some conservative members of her family. Muslim Indian-American writer Asra Nomani wrote of the relation of the Islamic term awrah to Şahin, and to other Muslim women including Nomani herself, concluding with an expression of hope in "finding a middle ground" between traditional and evolving mores.
