Sørkappfonna is a glaciated area in Sørkapp Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It has a length of about fourteen kilometers, and a width of about five kilometers. Stormbukta is a bay in Sørkapp Land at Spitsbergen, Svalbard. It is located at the western shore of Spitsbergen, extending from Olsokneset northwards to Bjørnbeinflya. Spitsbergen (; formerly known as West Spitsbergen; Norwegian: ''Vest Spitsbergen'' or ''Vestspitsbergen'' , also sometimes spelled Spitzbergen) is the largest and the only permanently populated island of the Svalbard archipelago in northern Norway. Constituting the westernmost bulk of the archipelago, it borders the Arctic Ocean, the Norwegian Sea, and the Greenland Sea. Svalbard ( , ), also known as Spitsbergen, or Spitzbergen, is a Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean. North of mainland Europe, it is about midway between the northern coast of Norway and the North Pole.
