Søren Hyldgaard
Søren Hyldgaard (6 August 1962 – 7 May 2018) was a Danish film composer, also known for several New Age albums and for his concerts. Hyldgaard was a self-taught musician. As a composer of meditational New Age music, he produced a string of albums with the Scandinavian label Fønix Musik. With more than 125,000 copies sold, Hyldgaard earned both Silver and Platinum Discs for his album ''Flying Dreams''. Hyldgaard received a prestigious artistic acknowledgement award from the San Diego Film Commission in Southern California for his achievements in film scoring. He also received several European film award nominations, including the Finnish National Film Academy's JUSSI Award as well as the Danish equivalent, the "Robert", for his film score for '' The One and Only'' (''Den eneste Ene''). New Age Music
New-age is a genre of music intended to create artistic inspiration, relaxation, and optimism. It is used by listeners for yoga, massage, meditation, and reading as a method of stress management to bring about a state of ecstasy rather than trance, or to create a peaceful atmosphere in homes or other environments. ''Midsommer'' (English: ''Midsummer'') is a 2003 psychological horror film directed by Carsten Myllerup and written by Rasmus Heisterberg. The story revolves around a group of Danish students who celebrate their graduation in a Swedish forest, when they encounter a supernatural presence seemingly connected to a friend who recently committed suicide. ''Dogville'' is a 2003 avant-garde drama film written and directed by Lars von Trier, and starring an ensemble cast led by Nicole Kidman, Lauren Bacall, Paul Bettany, Chloë Sevigny, Stellan Skarsgård, Udo Kier, Ben Gazzara, Harriet Andersson, and James Caan with John Hurt narrating. It is a parable that uses an extremely minimal, stage-like set to tell the story of Grace Mulligan (Kidman), a woman hiding from mobsters, who arrives in the small mountain town of Dogville, Colorado, and is provided refuge in return for physical labor. Till Eulenspiegel (; nds, Dyl Ulenspegel ) is the protagonist of a European narrative tradition. A German chapbook published around 1510 is the oldest known extant publication about the folk hero (a first edition of is preserved fragmentarily), but a background in earlier Middle Low German folklore is likely. The character may have been based on a historical person. Eulenspiegel is a native of the Duchy of Brunswick-Lüneburg whose picaresque career takes him to many places throughout the Holy Roman Empire. He plays practical jokes on his contemporaries, at every turn exposing vices. His life is set in the first half of the 14th century, and the final chapters of the chapbook describe his death from the plague of 1350. Eulenspiegel's surname translates to "owl-mirror"; and the frontispiece of the 1515 chapbook, as well as his alleged tombstone in Mölln, Schleswig-Holstein, render it as a rebus comprising an owl and a hand mirror. ''Olsen-banden Junior'' is a 2001 Danish family-comedy heist film. It is a prequel to the long running Danish film series ''Olsen-banden'', and an implementation of the concept used by the Swedish ''Olsen-banden'' remakes prequels ''Lilla Jönssonligan''. The film is also a sequel to the Christmas calendar '' Olsen-bandens første kup'' from 1999. The film premiered on December 14, 2001. The film was a moderate success compared to the original series and the Swedish and Norwegian equivalents. The film later received a novelization of the same name.
