Runar Søgaard
Runar Søgaard (born 27 June 1967 in Kongsvinger, Hedmark, Norway) is a Norwegian leadership trainer, life-coach, motivational speaker and former preacher. He was earlier married to singer Carola Häggkvist. In 2012 his business Vinger Consulting AB was threatened with bankruptcy following a lawsuit by On Strategies LLC. Activism In April 2005 he created some reaction during a speech in Stockholm, by saying that the Islamic prophet Muhammad had been a pedophile. This led to some condemnation and protests. During the same sermon he also made disparaging remarks about Jesus and Siddharta. Søgaard received threats from radical Islamists. Lotte Søgaard-Andersen
Lotte Søgaard-Andersen (born March 14, 1959) is a Danish microbiologist and molecular geneticist who researches cell signaling and regulation of the cell cycle. She works at the Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology as director and is an elected member of the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and American Academy of Microbiology. Early life and education Lotte Søgaard-Andersen was born on March 14, 1959, in Holbæk, Denmark. She graduated with her master's degree in 1984 from Odense University, followed by a Doctor of Medicine (1988) and PhD in molecular biology (1991) from the same university. Poul Søgaard
Poul Søgaard (né Pedersen; 12 November 1923 – 13 December 2016) was a Danish politician. Shortly after his 1923 birth in Odense, Poul Pedersen was adopted by Johannes Søgaard, and his name was changed accordingly. In 1939, Poul Søgaard joined the Social Democrats. He was elected to the party council for Odense in 1951, and three years later began serving on the city Council. He ran for and won a seat on the Folketing in 1960. Søgaard was a parliamentarian for thirty years until he stepped down in 1990. Mads Søgaard (born 13 December 2000) is a Danish professional ice hockey goaltender for the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Senators in the second round, 37th overall, in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. After two seasons in the American Hockey League, Søgaard made his NHL debut with the Senators in 2022. Allan Søgaard Larsen (born January 29, 1956, Strandby, Denmark) is the former CEO of Falck A/S and by extension Falck USA, a position he held until the end of 2016. He is regarded as one of the most wealthy executives in Denmark. Allan Søgaard (born 20 January 1978) is a former Danish football (soccer) player, spent his entire career playing for the Danish Superliga side AC Horsens. His normal position was as a defensive midfielder. He was known as a pacy player, with a major dedication to his team. Søgaard played a huge part in AC Horsens' promotion to the Superliga in 2005, and kept up his importance for the team during the first Superliga season. Aage William Søgaard (29 December 1933 – 4 May 2010) was a Norwegian trade unionist and politician for the Labour Party. Career He was born in Nes, Hedmark as a son of Martin Søgård (1898–1969) and dressmaker Ellen Myhre (1907–1963). He had modest education, and worked as a repair man at the factory Hedmark Tørrmelk in Brumunddal from 1955 to 1966. In his local branch (#98) of the union Norwegian Union of Food, Beverage and Allied Workers, he was the treasurer from 1957 to 1964 and chairman from 1964 to 1967.
