Södertelje Verkstäder was a Swedish company in Södertälje that made railway cars and Draisine. In 1901 the builder of electric cars Harald Håkansson managed to agree a contract so that Södertelje Verkstäder got access to experience, blueprints and engines from Kühlstein, NAG and Protos that they sold under the name "Helios". A draisine () is a light auxiliary rail vehicle, driven by service personnel, equipped to transport crew and material necessary for the maintenance of railway infrastructure. The eponymous term is derived from the German inventor Baron Karl Drais, who invented his ''Laufmaschine'' (German for "running machine") in 1817, which was called ''Draisine'' in German (''vélocipède'' or ''draisienne'' in French) by the press. Kühlstein
The Kühlstein Wagenbau in Berlin-Charlottenburg was a coachbuilding company that produced electric cars from 1898 to 1902. Some were vehicles of in-house design, others were Jeantaud cabs built under licence. The firm also built tractor units to replace horses for use with horse-drawn carriages. Neue Automobil Gesellschaft
The Neue Automobil-Gesellschaft (NAG), or Nationale Automobil-Gesellschaft after it changed its name in 1915, was a German automobile manufacturer in Berlin." The Protos was a wingless Formula 2 racing car that appeared in 1967.
