Sékou Sanogo (footballer)
Sékou Junior Sanogo (born 5 May 1989) is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for French club Paris FC on loan from the Serbian club Red Star Belgrade. Club career Sanogo was part of the Young Boys squad that won the 2017–18 Swiss Super League, their first league title in 32 years. On 21 January 2020, Sanogo signed a one-year loan with Serbian club Red Star Belgrade. Sanogo completed his move to the Serbian heavy weights Red Star Belgrade FC on 27 January 2021 from Saudi club Al-Ittihad Club (Jeddah) on a two-year deal with his contract expiring in 2023. On 31 January 2023, Sanogo joined Paris FC in the French Ligue 2 on loan until the end of the season. BSC Young Boys
BSC Young Boys (YB by short abbreviation ) are a Swiss sports club based in Bern, Switzerland. Its first team has won 15 Swiss league championships and six Swiss Cups. The 2021–22 Serbian Cup season is the fifteenth season of the Serbian national football cup competition. It started on 8 September 2021, and will end on 26 May 2022. Calendar Preliminary round A preliminary round was held in order to reduce the number of teams competing in the first round to 32. The Serbian Cup ( Serbian: Куп Србије, Kup Srbije) is the national football cup of Serbia. The winner of the competition gets a spot in the UEFA Europa League qualifying round. From 2006 to 2010, the competition was known as the Lav Cup for sponsorship reasons. History Serbia's cup tournament is the legal successor to the Serbia and Montenegro Cup and in turn of the Yugoslav Cup. This cup tournament lasted for four seasons up until the dissolution of the state union of Serbia and Montenegro in 2006. The tournament was dominated by Serbian clubs with no Montenegrin sides reaching the final. The 2021–22 Serbian SuperLiga will be the 16th season of the Serbian SuperLiga since its establishment in 2006. Red Star are the defending champions, having won their 7th SuperLiga and 32nd domestic title in the previous season. Summary Number of teams in the league for this season was reduced from 20 to 16 from last season which had increased number of teams due to COVID-19 pandemic. The 2018–19 Swiss Super League (referred to as the Raiffeisen Super League for sponsoring reasons) was the 122nd season of top-tier competitive football in Switzerland and the 16th under its current name and format.
