Alexander Szymanowski
Alexander Szymanowski (; born 13 October 1988), is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left winger for Italian club Vibonese. Raised in Spain, he spent most of his career there, totalling 42 games and 10 goals for Leganés in La Liga, and 82 appearances and 22 goals in Segunda División for that club and Recreativo. He also had a spell in Denmark with Brøndby, and suffered two-and-a-half seasons of injuries later in his career. Antoni Szymanowski
Antoni Jan Szymanowski (born 13 January 1951 in Tomaszów Mazowiecki) is a former Polish football right-back, and a member of the Poland national football team in two FIFA World Cups: 1974 and 1978. During those tournaments his club was Wisła Kraków. Szymanowski was one of the best defenders in Poland during the golden era of Polish football. In the later years of his career he played for the Belgian team Club Brugge KV. Currently he is a manager of Przebój Wolbrom - the club playing in Polish IV Liga . Celina Szymanowska
Celina Szymanowska (16 July 1812 – 5 March 1855) was a daughter of the Polish composer and pianist Maria Agata Szymanowska and the wife of the Polish Romantic poet Adam Mickiewicz. Life Celina Szymanowska, daughter of Mickiewicz's late friend the pianist Maria Agata Szymanowska, married the 14-years-older Adam Mickiewicz in Paris on 22 July 1834. The couple had six children: daughters Maria and Helena; and four sons, Władysław Mickiewicz (1838–1926), Józef Mickiewicz (1850–1938), Aleksander Mickiewicz and Jan Mickiewicz. Celina roused the dislike of other Polish émigrés, including the Romantic poet Zygmunt Krasiński. Filipina Brzezińska-Szymanowska
Filipina Brzezińska-Szymanowska (1 January 1800 – 11 November 1886) was a Polish pianist and composer. She was born in Warsaw, the daughter of Franciszek Szymanowski and Agata Wołowska. She studied with Charles Mayer and was influenced by her sister-in-law, composer Maria Szymanowska. She married Franciszek Jakub Brzeziński (1794–1846) and had four children: Franciszka Teofila Krysińska (born Brzezińska), Kazimierz Brzeziński, Teofila Zieleńska (born Brzezińska) and Aniela Brzezińska. Brzezińska-Szymanowska composed works for organ and piano. In 1876 she published a collection of short organ preludes. She died in Warsaw. Karol Szymanowski
Karol Maciej Szymanowski (; 6 October 188229 March 1937) was a Polish composer and pianist. He was a member of the modernist Young Poland movement that flourished in the late 19th and early 20th century. Szymanowski's early works show the influence of the late Romantic German school as well as the early works of Alexander Scriabin, as exemplified by his Étude Op. 4 No. 3 and his first two symphonies. Later, he developed an impressionistic and partially atonal style, represented by such works as the Third Symphony and his Violin Concerto No. 1. His third period was influenced by the folk music of the Polish Górale people, including the ballet ''Harnasie'', the Fourth Symphony, and his sets of Mazurkas for piano. Marianela Szymanowski Alonso (born 31 July 1990) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for Italian Serie A club Pomigliano CF and the Argentina women's national team. Theodore de Korwin Szymanowski (french: link=no, Théodore de Korwin Szymanowski ; pl, Teodor Dyzma Makary Korwin Szymanowski ; 4 July 1846 – 20 September 1901) was a Polish nobleman and impoverished landowner, an economic and political theorist writing in French. Wacław Szymanowski (23 August 185922 July 1930) was a Polish sculptor and painter. He is best known for his statue of composer Frédéric Chopin in Warsaw's Royal Baths Park (Łazienki Park).
