Szombathelyi Haladás
Szombathelyi Haladás (), is a Hungarian football club based in Szombathely. ''Haladás'' is the Hungarian word for ''progress''. The club, which was founded in 1919, plays its home games at Rohonci úti Stadion which has a capacity of 9,500 (5,430 seats). The club colours are green and white. Haladás reached the Hungarian Cup final in the years 1975, 1993 and 2002. Since its first promotion in 1936 the club has spent 51 seasons in the first division of the Hungarian league, the Nemzeti Bajnokság I (NB I). History The yoyo years Since 1919 the club have been famous for their yoyo between the Hungarian First Division and the Hungarian Second Division. Haladás Sportkomplexum ( hu, Haladás Sportkomplexum) is a multi-purpose stadium in Szombathely, Hungary. It replaced Szombathelyi Haladás's former stadium, Rohonci úti Stadion. History Planning On 28 August 2013, Csaba Hende minister of Defense, said that the government will provide 9.6 billion Hungarian forints to build the new stadium. The new sports hall will be the home of the futsal team, wrestling, box, weight lifting, and chess. On 6 September 2013, Csaba Hende, Member of the Hungarian Parliament and responsible for the Vas County, said that the preparation of the reconstruction started. The reconstruction team consulted with the Haladás Szurkoló Köre (''Haladás Fans Club''), presidents of the Haladás VSE, and The Student Association of Szombathely in order to enquire about the demand. Zalaegerszegi TE
Zalaegerszegi Torna Egylet Football Club (), commonly known as Zalaegerszegi TE, Zalaegerszeg or ZTE, is a football club from the city of Zalaegerszeg in Hungary. Zalaegerszeg has won one Hungarian League title in 2002. History ZTE traces its roots back to 1912, at the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Its first match was a 4–2 defeat to a team from Vasvár. The team was first composed of members of a literary and debating society. ZTE flourished under coach József Vadász, but World War I halted its progress. In 1920, Zalaegerszegi TE, or "Gymanistics Club of Zalaegerszeg," was born. They were defeated in their debut match, losing 2–1 to AK Szombathely on August 21, 1920, but were motivated by a crowd of over 2,000 fans. The 2018–19 Nemzeti Bajnokság I (also known as 2018–19 OTP Bank Liga), also known as NB I, was the 120th season of top-tier football in Hungary. The league was officially named ''OTP Bank Liga'' for sponsorship reasons. Videoton were the defending champions. Fixtures were published on 27 June 2018. Teams Balmazújváros and Vasas finished the 2017–18 Nemzeti Bajnokság I in the last two places and thus were relegated to NB II division. The two relegated teams were replaced with the top two teams in 2017–18 Nemzeti Bajnokság II, champion MTK and runner-up Kisvárda, each having the required licence for top-division play. Mezőkövesd SE
Mezőkövesd is a town in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, Northern Hungary. It lies from Miskolc and from Eger. History The area has been inhabited since the Great Migration. It is likely that the first Hungarian settlement was formed here shortly after the conquest of Hungary, but in 1275 in a church document it was mentioned as a deserted place. It is likely that the village was destroyed during the Mongol invasion of Hungary. In the 13th century, Mezőkövesd was the southernmost town belonging to the Diósgyőr estate. In 1464 the town got a seal and privileges from King Matthias. The name of the ''Matyó'' people, who inhabited the town and the area, is likely to have come from his name. In 1544 the town was occupied by the Turks. In 1552 – in the year when the Castle of Eger was under siege by the Turks – Mezőkövesd was completely destroyed. The 2018–19 Magyar Kupa (English: ''Hungarian Cup'') was the 79th season of Hungary's annual knock-out cup football competition. Idrottsföreningen Elfsborg, more commonly known as IF Elfsborg or simply Elfsborg (), is a professional football club based in Borås, Sweden, and is affiliated to the Västergötlands Fotbollförbund. They play in the Allsvenskan and have spent most of their history in the top tier of Swedish football. Their homeground is Borås Arena, where they have played since 17 April 2005. Krisztián Kenesei (born 7 January 1977) is a Hungarian former professional footballer. Club career Kenesei started his career at MTK Hungária, where he played 9 years. He then moved to Győri ETO and Zalaegerszeg, before signed by Beijing Guoan on 25 August 2003. He was offered a 3-year contract at the end of 2003 season. Kenesei was loaned back to Győri ETO in 2005. In January 2007, he was allowed to sign by Vasas, and on 30 July 2007, he was signed by newly promoted Serie B team Avellino. For the 2008/09 season he will play for Szombathelyi Haladás. International career Kenesei played for Hungary but after he returned to China in 2006 he did not receive any call-up. FC Irtysh Pavlodar ( kk, Ертіс Футбол Клубы, ''Ertis Fýtbol Klýby'') was a Kazakh professional football club based at the Central Stadium in Pavlodar.
