Szeto Man Chun
Szeto Man Chun (; born 5 June 1975) is a Hong Kong football coach and a former professional footballer. He is currently the head coach of Hong Kong Premier League club HK U23 and Hong Kong U-23. International career Szeto has played for the Hong Kong national football team for more than 8 years. In his football career, he played a lot of games against various national teams around the world, such as Denmark, Sweden, Brazil, Japan, South Korea and so on. He also played invitation matches with Liverpool and Real Madrid etc. He retired from professional football after the 2008–09 season. Coaching career Szeto has started his coaching career during his footballing career. Since 2007, he was one of the coaches of the Hong Kong National Youth Team. On 27 May 2017, Eastern chairman announced Szeto as Chan Yuen Ting's successor as their head coach. He resigned less than a year later on 19 January 2018 due to a poor results. Hong Kong was a colony and later a dependent territory of the British Empire from 1841 to 1997, apart from a period of occupation under the Japanese Empire from 1941 to 1945 during the Pacific War. The Hong Kong Premier League () is a Hong Kong professional football league organised by the Hong Kong Football Association. The Hong Kong Football Association Limited (), often abbreviated to the HKFA, is the governing body of association football in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Senior Challenge Shield (), known commonly as the Senior Shield, is the football knockout inter-club competition held in Hong Kong and the fourth oldest football tournament in Asia. Traditionally, only the teams in the Hong Kong Premier League are entered into the competition. However, on occasion teams in lower divisions, usually the champions of the Junior Shield, are invited in order to increase the number of participating teams. Hong Kong Football Association League Cup () is an annual football competition contested by clubs in the top-tier Hong Kong domestic football league (currently Hong Kong Premier League). The cup was relaunched for the 2014–15 season after being discontinued in the 2012–13 season. Format *All teams in Hong Kong First Division League (until 2013–2014 season) / Hong Kong Premier League (starting from 2014 to 2015 season) are divided in the 2 groups (Group A & B) in first round stage.
