Situ is one of the more common surviving Chinese compound surnames. It is also spelled in Wade–Giles as Ssŭtu or in the Mathews system as Szŭtu, and romanised from Cantonese as Szeto, Seto, or Sitou, or from Taishanese as Soohoo. It originates from the ancient Chinese title Situ, which can be translated as "Minister over the Masses". The surname is common in Guangdong province, particularly around Kaiping. 2000 United States Census

Hayden Szeto
Hayden Chun Hay Szeto (born September 11, 1985; ) is a Canadian actor of Hong Kong descent, known for his role as Erwin Kim in the comedy-drama film ''The Edge of Seventeen'' (2016). Szeto Man Chun (; born 5 June 1975) is a Hong Kong football coach and a former professional footballer. He is currently the head coach of Hong Kong Premier League club HK U23 and Hong Kong U-23. Carwai Seto
Carwai Seto (born 2 April 1973) is a Canadian breaststroke, freestyle and medley swimmer who represented Taiwan in international competition. She competed in five events at the 1988 Summer Olympics. Olympic swimming Seto was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her mother is Taiwanese, which made her eligible to compete for Taiwan. Her swimming coach was fellow Nova Scotian Gary MacDonald. She held the Taiwanese record of 2:38.93 in the 200 m breaststroke from 1989 until 2004, when it was broken by Lin Man-hsu. Antony Szeto (司徒永華), (born 9 December 1964) is a film director and martial artist. Early life and education Szeto was born in Sydney, Australia. He studied martial arts at Beijing Sport University. Upon graduation, he returned to Australia and double-majored in film and finance at Bond University, going to the United Kingdom for his master's degree. Sitoh Yih Pin ( zh, s=司徒宇斌, p=Sītú Yǔbīn; born 1963) is a Singaporean politician. A member of the governing People's Action Party (PAP), he has been the Member of Parliament (MP) representing Potong Pasir SMC since 2011. Da-Hong Seetoo (; born September 29, 1960) is a classical record producer, recording engineer, and Violinist. Szeto Wah (; 28 February 1931 – 2 January 2011) was a prominent Hong Kong democracy activist and politician. He was the founding chairman of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China, the Hong Kong Professional Teachers' Union and former member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong from 1985 to 1997 and from 1997 to 2004. Being one of the two icons of the Hong Kong democracy movement alongside Martin Lee, Szeto played an instrumental role in the emergence of the pro-democracy camp.
