Szandra Szalay
Szandra Szalay (born 30 July 1989 in Tatabánya), is a Hungarian professional triathlete and the third best Hungarian triathlete of the year 2010 according to the Hungarian ''Ranglista,'' i.e. National Championship Series. In 2007, Szandra Szalay took part in her first ITU triathlon and won the Junior European Cup in Tiszaújváros, as in 2008, the year in which she won the silver medal at the European Championships. Since 2006 Szandra Szalay represents the club ORTRI, located in Oroszlány near her hometown Tatabánya. Her coach is Licskó Csaba. Together with Zsófia Tóth, until 2008 also a member of ORTRI, and Zsófia Kovács Szandra Szalay may be considered one of Hungary's most promising hopes for the Olympic Games in London 2012. Tatabánya (; german: Totiserkolonie; sk, Banská Stará) is a City with county rights, city with county rights of 64,305 inhabitants in northwestern Hungary, in the Central Transdanubian region. Oroszlány
Oroszlány (german: Ohreslahn) is a city in Hungary, Komárom-Esztergom county, Central Transdanubia region, located on the North-West flanks of the Vértes Mountains. It has a population of 20.487. The main tourist attraction of the town is the 18th-century Camaldolese monastery of Majk. Etymology The name of the town comes from the lion ( hu, oroszlán) on the coat of arms of the Csák family that founded it. Zsófia Tóth
Zsófia Tóth (born 25 December 1989 in Tata), also Zsófi, is a Hungarian professional triathlete, several times National Champion in various categories, number 2 in the national elite'' Ranglista'' and the 2011 National Vice Champion. Since 2005 she has been a permanent member of the National Team. In the 2010 ITU ranking ''(Women’s Standings)'' she was number 20 of the 81 best U23 triathletes of the world. Education Zsófia Tóth attended the ''Váci Mihály Általános Iskola'' and the high schoo''Középiskola Bárdos László Gimnázium''in Tatabánya, which she finished in 2009. Zsófia Kovács (born 7 February 1988 in Gyöngyös) is a Hungarian professional triathlete, winner of the Hungarian Cup 2010 ''(Triatlon Ranglista)'' and member of the National Team. Since 2004 Zsófia Kovács has regularly taken part in ITU competitions. Each year, she has achieved top ten positions in various age groups, e.g. the silver medal at the European Championships of the year 2004 (Junior), and, from 2006 onwards, also in the elite class, placing sixth at the Premium European Cup in Eilat (2006), fourth at the European Cup in Balatonfüred (2008), and ninth again at the Premium European Cup in Eilat (2009).
