System Crash (TV Series)
''System Crash'' is a Canadian youth sketch comedy television show, which aired on YTV from 1999 to 2001. The series centred on a group of students in a junior high school media club, telling the events of their fictional school, Lambton Junior High, in the past week. Each episode usually had a theme, e.g. parents. Recurring segments *Fly on the Wall - Uses hidden cameras to show what happens when no one is looking (e.g. why girls go to the bathroom in pairs and what do they do once they're in there?) *Burnbaum Helps - Burnbaum helping people. However, it always ends badly for the person that asks for help. YTV (TV Channel)
YTV is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by YTV Canada, Inc., a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment. The channel and its programming is targeted at children and young teenagers; its name was originally thought to be an abbreviation for "Youth Television", though the channel's website has denied this. The channel was launched on September 1, 1988 by owners Rogers Media and CUC Broadcasting upon launch. In 1995, Shaw Communications acquired CUC's 34% stake and in 1998, it acquired Rogers' remaining interest of the channel, before Shaw's media division was spun off to form Corus Entertainment in 1999. Under Corus ownership, YTV sources most of its programming from U.S.-based Nickelodeon and launched its own dedicated TV channel several years later.
