Symphony of Heaven is a Christian blackened death metal band from Owensville, Indiana, United States. The band began in 2017 as a solo project, but morphed into a full band by 2019, consisting of Logan Thompson (guitars/vocals), David Napier (bass), Eero Tertsunen (guitars), and Mason Beard (drums). The band has released two studio albums, two EPs, and a split release. According to ''HM Magazine'', the band is "one of the best death metal acts to form in the past four years" as of 2021. History The project began in 2017, as an unnamed project led by Logan Thompson. On February 3, 2017, the project was featured on a sampler, released by The Bearded Dragon Productions, titled ''The Bearded Dragon's Sampler: 3rd Times a Charm'', with the track "Anno Domini nstrumental. Only a week later, Symphony of Heaven released "Stratagem", his sophomore single, followed by a lyric video. The name was derived from . Owensville, Indiana
Owensville is the third largest town and the smallest of the five larger communities in Gibson County, Indiana, United States. The population was 1,330 in 2017. History Owensville was established in 1817 by Phillip Briscoe, when he filed the town plat consisting of 52 parcels and five out-parcels. A fire in 1876 destroyed many of the wood framed businesses on the eastern side of the town square. It was not until 1881 that Owensville incorporated. On March 18, 1925, the Tri-State Tornado struck just northwest of the town, killing nine people. On February 28, 2017, an EF3 wedge tornado, originating in Crossville, Illinois, passed to the south of the town, destroying or heavily damaging several structures along Indiana 65. The highway was closed for several days as power crews replaced several large power poles. The project began in 2017, starting off with an EP, titled ''...Of Scars and Soil...'', with all three tracks being re-recorded and released again on the album. The album was recorded at Commander86 Studios, by the band's brainchild, Logan Thompson and was produced by Luke Dinan of Children of Wrath. The album was released via Nosral Recordings. The artwork premiered through Indie Vision Music. The band released a lyric video for the track "In Anger's Midst" following the album's release. The album was released in 2021, four years after the debut of ''The Season of Death'' on Nosral Recordings. The album is the debut of Eero Tertsunen ( Renascent, The Slave Eye, Angel of Sodom) on guitars, David "Timōrātus" Napier ( Timōrātus) on bass, and Mason "Asaph" Beard (Mystic Winter) on drums, which saw founder Logan "Pathos" Thompson switch from everything to solely guitars and vocals. Enthroned is a Belgian black metal band formed in Charleroi. It is one of the premier acts of the Belgian black metal scene. History The band was founded in 1993 by drummer Cernunnos. He soon recruited guitarist Tsebaoth and a vocalist from grindcore/black metal band Hecate who stayed until the end of December 1993. Then bassist/vocalist Sabathan joined.
