Syed Zahoor Ahmad Agha
Syed Zahoor Ahmad Agha ( ur, ); is a Pakistani politician who served as the 23rd Governor of Balochistan from 9 July 2021 to 13 April 2022. Early life and education He received his early education from Killi Muchaan School, Pishin and got a master's degree in Animal Science from the University of Uganda. He owns 260 animal husbandries. Career Zahoor Agha has been associated with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) since 2011. He ran for the seat of the Provincial Assembly of the Balochistan as a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate from Constituency PB-6 (Quetta-VI) in the 2013 Pakistani general election, but was unsuccessful. He received only 2256 votes and lost the seat to Manzoor Ahmad Khan Kakar, a candidate of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP). Pishin District
Pishin ( bal, پشین, ps, پښين, ur, ), IPA: pʂin/pçin, is a district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. In 1975 it was separated from Quetta District, while in 1994 part of it was split off to form the new district of Killa Abdullah. The name Pishin is a modernized form of ‘Pushang’, which is how the city was designated in (mainly pre-modern) Persian sources (Arabic sources using 'Fushang'). Myth attributes the origin of the Persian designation to a son of the mythical Emperor Afrasiab. Fushing was the spelling used in the records of the Afghan government. The population of Pishin District was estimated to be over 300,000 in 2005. The Governor of Balochistan is the head of the province of Balochistan, Pakistan. The post was established on 1 July 1970, after the dissolution of West Pakistan province and the end of One Unit. Amanullah Khan Yasinzai ( ur, ; born 7 August 1954) was the 21st Governor of Balochistan. He is a former Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court (BHC). Early life and education Yasinzai was born on 7 August 1954 in Quetta. He received his Bachelors' and Master's degree from Forman Christian College in Lahore. Career Yasinzai served as a Justice of the Balochistan High Court from 27 January 1997 to 5 August 2009. He served as the Chief Justice of the BHC from 14 September 2005 until his resignation in 2009. Arif-ur-Rehman Alvi (; born 29 July 1949) is a Pakistani dentist and politician currently serving as the 13th President of Pakistan, in office since 9 September 2018. The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (; ), abbreviated as PMAP or PKMAP, is a political party in Pakistan's Balochistan province. It was founded by Mahmood Khan Achakzai, who was elected as the chairman, and Sher Ali Bacha, who served as the General Secretary, in March 1989 in Quetta.
