Syed Azhar Shah Qaiser
Azhar Shah Qaiser (1920–1985) was an Indian Islamic scholar, journalist and writer. He wrote articles and books in Urdu. He was the elder son of the Indian hadith scholar, Anwar Shah Kashmiri. During his career, he served as the editor of ''Darul Uloom'', the monthly journal of Darul Uloom Deoband. Birth and education Azhar Shah Qaiser was born in December 1920 at Deoband. His father Anwar Shah Kashmiri was a hadith scholar. Qaiser enrolled in the Darul Uloom Deoband. When his father resigned from the Darul Uloom Deoband in 1927, and moved to Jamia Islamia Talimuddin, Dabhel, Qaiser went with him to Dabhel and continued his studies there. Qaiser was about 12 years old when his father Anwar Shah Kashmiri died in 1933. Facing consequences, Qaiser was not able to complete his studies. Deobandis
Deobandi is a Islamic revival, revivalist movement within Sunni Islam, adhering to the Hanafi school of law, formed in the late 19th century around the Darul Uloom Deoband, Darul Uloom Madrassa in Deoband, India, from which the name derives, by Muhammad Qasim Nanautavi, Rashid Ahmad Gangohi, and several others, after the Indian Rebellion of 1857, Indian Rebellion of 1857–58. Darul Uloom Waqf, Deoband
Al-Jamia Al-Islamia Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband (known as Darul Uloom Waqf) is an Islamic seminary situated in the Indian town of Deoband. It was established by scholars led by Muhammad Salim Qasmi and Anzar Shah Kashmiri in 1982 as a result of administration disputes in Darul Uloom Deoband during 1980–1982. As of 2021, Muhammad Sufyan Qasmi is its rector. History During 1980 and 1982, Darul Uloom Deoband experienced administrative disputes, which Muhammad Taqi Usmani regarded as the worst of their type. These disputes led to its bifurcation. Darul Uloom Deoband remained under the control of Madanis, led by Asad Madni, while the other faction which was led by Muhammad Salim Qasmi and Anzar Shah Kashmiri established a new madrassa called Darul Uloom Waqf in 1982. Asir Adrawi
Nizāmuddīn Asīr Adrawi (also known as Asīr Adrawi; 1926 – 20 May 2021) was an Indian Sunni Muslim scholar, biographer, historian and author in the Urdu language. He established Madrassa Darus Salam in Adari and served as Officer In Charge of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind in Lucknow from 1974 to 1978. Asīr was an alumnus of Jamia Miftahul Uloom, Madrassa Ehya-ul-Uloom and the Madrasa Shahi. He taught Islamic sciences at the Madrasa Jamia Islamia in Rewri Talab, Varanasi. Izaz Ali Amrohi
Izaz Ali Amrohi ( ur, ; November 1882 – 1955) was an Indian Islamic scholar who served as the second and ninth Grand Mufti of the Darul Uloom Deoband. His book ''Nafahtul Arab'' is taught in madrassas including the Darul Uloom Deoband. Biography Izaz Ali Amrohi was born in November 1882 in Amroha. He studied Quran with Qutbuddin, and memorized it under the supervision of Hafiz Sharfuddin. He learnt Persian from his father and studied primary books of dars-e-nizami at Madrasa Arbi Gulshan Faiz in Tilhar with Maqsood Ali Khan.
