Sydney Super Cup
The Sydney Super Cup is a football friendly tournament to be held in Sydney during November 2022. The tournament is being held in the days prior to the 2022 FIFA World Cup whilst domestic leagues are paused. Rangers were originally scheduled to participate alongside Glasgow rivals Celtic, but withdrew on 31 March 2022, replaced by English Premier League side Everton. The tournament is expected to be a bi-annual event. Michael Vincent Keane (born 11 January 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for club Everton. Keane began his career at Manchester United and was named as their Reserves Player of the Year in 2012, but was loaned out several times, latterly to Burnley who signed him on a permanent basis in January 2015. He was part of their team which won the 2015–16 Football League Championship prior to his transfer to Everton in 2017. Neal Maupay
Neal Maupay (born 14 August 1996) is a French professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Brentford on loan from Everton. Maupay started his career with Nice and was a France youth international. He is eligible to play for the Argentina national team through his mother and in February 2022, he made himself available and put in a personal request to Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni to consider selecting him.
