''Switched at Birth'' (also known as ''Mistaken Identity'' and ''Two Babies: Switched at Birth'' ), American television film, made-for-television drama (film and television), drama film released in 1999 by Alexander/Enright & Associates and Carlton America. It was filmed in Newberg, Oregon and Portland, Oregon. Plot Two baby boys, born more or less at the same time, were Babies switched at birth, switched soon after they had been born. When their families accidentally discover it eighteen months later, they start having troubles to decide who their real children are – the one they have been raising or the one they gave birth to. Melissa Gilbert
Melissa Ellen Gilbert (born May 8, 1963) is an American actress, television director, producer, politician, and former president of the Screen Actors Guild. Gilbert began her career as a child actress in the late 1960s, appearing in numerous commercials and guest starring roles on television. From 1974 to 1983, she starred as Laura Ingalls Wilder, the second oldest daughter of Charles Ingalls (played by Michael Landon) on the NBC series ''Little House on the Prairie''. During the run of ''Little House'', Gilbert appeared in several television films, including ''The Diary of Anne Frank'' and ''The Miracle Worker''. As an adult, she continued her career mainly in television films. David Andrews (actor)
David Andrews (born November 2, 1952) is an American character actor who is known for his role as Lieutenant General Robert Brewster in '' Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines''. Early life Andrews was born on November 2, 1952 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University as an undergraduate and spent a year at the Duke University School of Law and two at Stanford Law School, from which he graduated in the late 1970s.
