"Switch" is the second season premiere of the AMC television series ''Better Call Saul'', the spinoff series of ''Breaking Bad''. The episode aired on February 15, 2016 on AMC in the United States. Plot Opening In a flash-forward that follows the events of ''Breaking Bad'', "Gene" manages a Cinnabon store in Omaha, Nebraska. When closing for the night, he accidentally locks himself in the mall's dumpster room. He contemplates using an emergency exit but does not because the alarm on the door would notify the police. A janitor lets him out nearly three hours later, but Gene carved "S.G. WAS HERE" into the wall with a screw while he waited. Main story Jimmy McGill declines Davis & Main's employment offer and goes on vacation at a luxury hotel under an assumed name. Better Call Saul
''Better Call Saul'' is an American crime and legal drama television series created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. Part of the ''Breaking Bad'' franchise, it is a spin-off of Gilligan's previous series, '' Breaking Bad'', and serves as a prequel and sequel to its predecessor. Set primarily in the early-mid 2000s in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the series examines the transformation of Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), an earnest lawyer and former con artist, into an egocentric criminal defense attorney known as Saul Goodman. The show also examines the moral decline of former police officer Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), who becomes a violent fixer for drug traffickers to support his granddaughter and widowed daughter-in-law. The show premiered on AMC on February 8, 2015, and concluded on August 15, 2022, after six seasons consisting of 63 episodes. "Granite State" is the fifteenth and the penultimate episode of the fifth season of the American television crime drama series ''Breaking Bad'', and the 61st and penultimate episode of the series. The episode was directed and written by Peter Gould. It aired on AMC in the United States and Canada on September 22, 2013. Plot Ed Galbraith brings Saul Goodman to his vacuum repair shop, where Walter White also awaits a new identity. Walt attempts to coerce Saul into coming with him but is subdued by a coughing fit. No longer intimidated by Walt, Saul then leaves for his new life in Nebraska. Jack Welker's gang raids Marie Schrader's house and finds Jesse Pinkman's confession tape. Jack wants to kill Jesse for informing, but Todd Alquist wants Jesse to cook meth to impress Lydia Rodarte-Quayle, with whom Todd is infatuated.
