Bad Ragaz
Bad Ragaz is a municipality in the ''Wahlkreis'' (constituency) of Sarganserland in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland. It is the home of a famous natural spring and is a popular spa and health resort destination. History Bad Ragaz is first mentioned ''circa'' 843 as ''Ragaces''. As plain Ragaz, the locality was originally a farming village. It had over the centuries a certain importance owing to its position on the north–south route between Germany and Italy. Its history was closely linked to that of the Benedictine Pfäfers Abbey, an important monastery dating back perhaps to the eighth century, which was the dominant landholder around the village and the principal rights holder. Chris Williams (golfer)
Christopher Gary Williams (born 20 March 1959) is an English-born golfer who currently lives in South Africa. Williams has won seven times on the Sunshine Tour. Professional career Williams was born in Liverpool, England. He moved to Johannesburg, South Africa shortly before turning professional in 1978. He joined the Sunshine Tour in 1985, and won his first title; the Lexington PGA Championship, during his debut season. He has won six more events on the Sunshine Tour since then. Williams joined the European Senior Tour on turning 50, having secured conditional playing rights at the 2008 qualifying school. He won for the first time as a senior in March 2011 at the Aberdeen Brunei Senior Masters. Gordon Manson
Gordon David Manson (born 19 May 1960) is a Scottish-born Austrian professional golfer. Manson has had a successful career on the European Senior Tour which he joined in 2011. Manson led the final stage of the 2010 Qualifying school after three of the four rounds but had a last round of 75 to finish tied for seventh place, receiving a conditional card for the 2011 season. He has won twice; the 2015 Swiss Seniors Open and the 2016 Acorn Jersey Open. He has also been runner-up in the 2014 Travis Perkins Masters, the 2015 ISPS Handa PGA Seniors Championship and the 2015 Prostate Cancer UK Scottish Senior Open. He was fourth in the 2015 European Senior Tour Order of Merit and ninth in 2016. Pedro Linhart
Pedro Linhart (born 30 December 1962) is a Spanish professional golfer. Linhart was born Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Spain to American parents, and took up Spanish citizenship in the 1980s. He turned professional in 1982, and after a failed visit to European Tour qualifying school in 1986 he spent time working as an assistant pro in New Jersey and playing on the mini-tour circuit in the United States. Linhart won a European Tour card at his second attempt and was a rookie on the tour in 1994. In 1995 he won the Canarias Challenge, a Challenge Tour event, on the islands of his birth. In 1999 he won the Madeira Island Open on the main European tour, but he suffered a wrist injury in 2000 and was unable to build on this success. In 2007, Pedro finished 2nd in the Qualifying School for the European Tour, and therefore regained his card. Tim Thelen
Tim Thelen (born June 14, 1961) is an American professional golfer. Thelen was born in Albany, Minnesota. He played college golf at Foothills Junior College and Houston Baptist University where he was a teammate of Colin Montgomerie. He worked as a club professional winning the PGA Club Professional Championship in 2000 and 2003 and the 2009 PGA Assistant Professional Championship. He played in nine PGA Championships but failed to make the cut in any of them. He won the 2001 PGA Professional Player of the Year award. After turning 50, Thelen won the European Senior Tour qualifying school in 2010. He finished 24th on the Tour's Order of Merit in 2011 and won his first Tour event at the 2012 Berenberg Bank Masters in Germany. Mark William McNulty (born 24 March 1953) is a Zimbabwean-Irish professional golfer. He was one of the leading players on the European Tour from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s, and featured in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking for 83 weeks from 1987 to 1992. Early life McNulty was born in Bindura, Southern Rhodesia (now known as Zimbabwe). He was raised on a farm in the Centenary area of Zimbabwe. When McNulty was one year old, his natural father was killed in a shooting accident. His step-father was an amateur pilot who had an airstrip on the farm. When his step-father was diagnosed with epilepsy, he was forced to give up flying. He converted the airstrip into a three-hole golf course, where Mark first learned to play golf. Philip Golding
Philip Keith Golding (born 25 July 1962) is an English professional golfer. Career Golding was born in Luton, Bedfordshire. He was a promising cricketer who played for Middlesex Colts before he took up golf at the age of 17. He turned professional in 1981, becoming an assistant at his local golf club. Golding has been a regular fixture at the European Tour's qualifying school, where in 2007 he stretched his record to 18 appearances. He has often won a tour card, but up to the age of forty he had never done well enough on the Tour to retain his card automatically. In 2003 Golding won the Open de France, one of Europe's most prestigious events, on his 201st tour start. His prize of €416,660 was more than twice as much as he had ever won in a complete season before that year, and he went on to finish the season in a career best 32nd place on the Order of Merit.
