Sweetsalt
Sweetsalt is a Lithuanian rock band formed in 2006 by lead vocalist Rokas Dobužinskas and lead guitarist Pijus Ganauskas. Soon after bassist Šarūnas Dirsė and drummer Jurgis Cicėnas joined, completing the line-up. The band quickly rose to fame, especially after winning Coca-Cola Soundwave contest in 2008, receiving a chance to perform in Coke Live Music Festival along with The Prodigy and Timbaland. The same year they also closed one of the biggest baltic music festivals Be2gether Be2gether or B2G was the largest annual music and arts festival in Baltic countries. Established in 2007, it took place in Norviliškės, Lithuania, just a few meters from the border with Belarus. In 2007, attendance was estimated at around 7,00 .... In 2009, Sweetsalt performed in various rock concerts and night clubs. However the band didn't show up in any major events and was quickly forgotten by the media. Coke Live Music Festival
Live Music Festival (previously known as Coke Live Music Festival) is a music festival which has been taking place in Kraków, Poland since 2006. The main organizer of the festival is the concert agency Alter Art, and until 2014 the festival's principal sponsor was the Coca-Cola Company. In April 2014, it was announced that the festival has a new sponsor, and the next edition will be organized in Summer 2015, after a one-year break. From 2006 to 2008, the festival was held at the Wisła Kraków Stadium. In 2009, its location moved to the Polish Aviation Museum airport. The festival is held in August and last two days—with the exceptions of the 2006 edition (lasting one day, in September) and the 2009 edition (three days). The Prodigy
The Prodigy are an English electronic dance music band formed in Braintree, Essex, in 1990 by producer, keyboard player and songwriter Liam Howlett. The original line-up also featured dancer and singer Keith Flint and dancer and occasional live keyboard player Leeroy Thornhill, dancer Sharky and MC and vocalist Maxim. They were pioneers of the breakbeat-influenced genre big beat, and achieved mainstream popularity in the 1990s. Howlett's rock-inspired drum rhythms infused with electronic rave music beats/breaks were combined with Maxim's omnipresent mystique, Thornhill's shuffle dancing style, and Flint's later modern punk appearance. Be2gether
Be2gether or B2G was the largest annual music and arts festival in Baltic countries. Established in 2007, it took place in Norviliškės, Lithuania, just a few meters from the border with Belarus. In 2007, attendance was estimated at around 7,000–8,000 people, with an increase to 12,000 in 2008. Background Be2gether was created with the slogan ''"Music Opens Borders''", to emphasise the importance of connection despite any differences in culture, nationality, age or social position. To underscore this goal, the festival is held in the so-called Dieveniškės panhandle: Lithuanian territory surrounded by Belarus on three sides. The area is remote and is difficult to reach, due to Lithuania being a member of the European Union and Belarus not.
