Swedish Mixed Curling Championship
The Swedish Mixed Curling Championship ( sv, Svenska mästerskap i curling för mixed, SM lag mixed) is the national championship of mixed curling (two men and two women) in Sweden. It has been held annually since 1968. (web archive; champions from 1968 to 2007) Rules changing Before the 1989–90 season, the team line-up could be "free" (not necessarily "two men and two women" but "four players of any gender"). In the 1989–90 and 1990–91 seasons all four players had to have represented one curling club. Beginning with the 1991–92 season, a minimum two players must be from the same curling club. List of champions (1968–2013) (teams line-up in order: fourth, third, second, lead, alternate, ''coach''; skips marked bold) List of champions and medallists (2014–present) (teams line-up in order: fourth, third, second, lead, alternate, ''coach''; skips marked bold) References See also * Swedish Men's Curling Championship * Swedish Women's Curling Championship * Swedish ...

Mixed Curling
This is a glossary of terms in curling. #s During a game, sweepers might call out numbers. These numbers indicate how far the sweepers think the rock in play will travel. This system is relatively new to the game and is often attributed to the Randy Ferbey rink since they were the first major team to use the system, but it is not known whose idea it originally was. 1 to 3 indicates a rock in the free guard zone, 4 to 6 the rings in front of the tee line, 7 being on the button, and 8 to 10 the rings behind the tee line. Sometimes, 11 is used to indicate a stone thrown so that it passes through the house and out of play. With this system, the sweepers can communicate more effectively where they think the stone will end up or the skip can better tell the deliverer how hard to throw it. # ; : An endgame strategy based on maintaining hammer in the even ends of the last 3 ends of the game. If the team with hammer always scores (in other words, no blanks and no steals), then one t ...

Falun
Falun () is a city and the seat of Falun Municipality in Dalarna County, Sweden, with 37,291 inhabitants in 2010. It is also the capital of Dalarna County. Falun forms, together with Borlänge, a metropolitan area with just over 100,000 inhabitants. Falun was originally famous for its copper mine, and is today an important service and industrial city even though the mine is closed (since 1992). Faluån is a river, flowing through the city, separating it into two sides. Falu copper mine is located on one of the sides which during many centuries was one of Sweden's main business. This side of the river was usually called "the mining side", where not many plants grew due to the toxic smoke which contaminated the soil. On the other side of the river, where the smoke did not reach, set many large villas, which made this side to be called "the delightful side". The centre of Falun consists of classical pedestrian streets with small shops. In 1998, the city reclaimed the award of "the ...
