Brice Harvey Mack (June 2, 1917 – January 2, 2008) was a background painter and director, known for his extensive work at Disney in the 1940s and 1950s as a background painter. He was hired for story writing at Disney in the 1950s, and worked on illustrating children's books based on the studio's films. His first credited appearance was as the background artist for the ''Rite of Spring'' sequence in ''Fantasia''. He worked on ''Song of the South'', ''Alice in Wonderland'', ''Peter Pan'', and ''Lady and the Tramp''. He also worked on Walt Disney's anthology television series as a background painter and writer in the late 1950s. In the 1950s he became the president of ERA Productions, a small studio which was staffed with animators who had mostly come from Disney after leaving during the strike of 1941, producing and directing animated and live action commercials for the Peterson Company, as well as work for Disney. Dimension Pictures was an American film studio founded in 1971, which primarily released exploitation and horror films. The studio went defunct in 1981, after which many of its films were acquired by 21st Century Film Corporation. History Dimension was founded by Lawrence Woolner, an exhibitor who had made a number of films, including several with Roger Corman. He hired the husband and wife team of Stephanie Rothman and Charles S. Swartz to run the filmmaking division. Rothman and Swartz left in 1975 but the company continued until about 1981. After the company's bankruptcy, a majority of the films were acquired by 21st Century Film Corporation. Daniel Goldman (October 30, 1939 – April 12, 2020) was an American actor and casting director. He was most widely recognized as the voice of Brainy Smurf in Hanna-Barbera's ''The Smurfs'' (1981–1989). Early life Goldman graduated from Far Rockaway High School in Queens, New York City, in 1957.
