Swannell Ranges
The Swannell Ranges are a mountain range between the Finlay and Nation Rivers and between the Hogem Ranges and the Finlay Ranges of northern British Columbia, Canada. It has an area of 22932 km2 and is a subrange of the Omineca Mountains which in turn form part of the Interior Mountains.Swannell Range

Mount Swannell
Mount Swannell, 1821 m (5974 ft), prominence 771 m, is a mountain in the Fawnie Range of the Nechako Plateau in the Central Interior region of British Columbia, Canada. It is located to the south of the outlet of the Entiako River into Natalkuz Lake, which is part of the Nechako Reservoir. The northernmost of the summits of the Fawnie Range and is in the northeastern end of Entiako Provincial Park, it is the only named summit of the Fawnie Range within the park. Name origin Mount Swannell, like other similar names in British Columbia, is named for Frank Swannell, a notable British Columbia Land Surveyor who mapped much of the province by foot and horseback in the late 19th and into the mid 20th Century. Blair Swannell
Blair Inskip Swannell (20 August 1875 – 25 April 1915) was an English-born international rugby union forward who played club rugby for Northampton, and internationally for the British Isles and later Australia. He was invited to tour with the British Isles on their 1899 tour of Australia and then their 1904 tour of Australia and New Zealand. He played a total of seven Test matches on these tours, and scored one Test try – against Australia during the 1904 tour. After settling in Australia, Swannell played a single game for his new home when they faced New Zealand. He was viewed as a violent player, and this made his unpopular with other players. Frank Swannell
Frank Cyril Swannell (May 16, 1880 in Hamilton, Ontario - 1969 in Victoria) was one of British Columbia's most famous surveyors. He came to British Columbia during the era of the Klondike Gold Rush and became a surveyor's assistant. Then, from 1908, he was a professional surveyor and surveyed many regions of British Columbia. He kept a journal of his work and collected over 5000 unique pictures of the era, which were donated to BC Archives for the benefit of future researchers. The photographs span a period of more than 40 years and cover many areas of the province. Their subjects include stagecoaches, sternwheelers, old forts and remote villages, mountains and rivers, pioneer settlers, miners and First Nations people. Swannell's pictures are a priceless contribution to the history of British Columbia. John Swannell (photographer)
John Swannell (born 27 December 1946) is a British photographer. Career Swannell was born in London in 1946. After leaving school at the age of 16, Swannell worked first as an assistant at ''Vogue'' Studios and then assisted David Bailey for four years before setting up his own studio. He spent the next ten years travelling and working for magazines such as ''Vogue'', '' Harpers & Queen'', ''The Sunday Times'' and ''Tatler''. During this time he developed his very distinctive, individual style in both fashion and beauty photography. Swannell provided the photograph for the cover of the 1973 album ''The Man in the Bowler Hat'' and the 1976 '' Mr. Mick'' album by British rock group Stackridge, and has many other record cover photograph credits to his name. He is known for his royal portrait photographs.
