Svidden
Jimmy Koitzsch, also known by his stage name Svidden (born 1984), is a Swedish record producer, songwriter and musician based in Stockholm. He began his career largely affiliated with the work of Style of Eye, who later went on to form the house music duo Galantis and producing most of their work. Together with the duo, Svidden has written and produced multi-platinum selling hit singles like "Runaway (U & I)", " No Money", and " Peanut Butter Jelly". Aside from the project, he has also collaborated with artists like Miike Snow, Hilary Duff, and Adam Lambert. At the 58th Annual Grammy Awards in 2015, Svidden was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Dance recording category with the song "Runaway (U & I)". ''Pharmacy'' is the debut studio album by Swedish electronic music duo Galantis, released on 8 June 2015. The album features six singles ("Runaway (U & I)", "You", " Peanut Butter Jelly", " Gold Dust", "In My Head" and "Louder, Harder, Better"). Artwork Overall, four "Seafoxes" are included in the album artwork. The cover features a unique Seafox, only seen on the album artwork. The booklet features a Seafox also used for the "You" single artwork, and also appears on the cover of the ''Galantis'' EP. The inside panel of the digipak features a Seafox used for the " Peanut Butter Jelly" single artwork, and also the YouTube audio for "Louder, Harder, Better". Runaway (U & I)
"Runaway (U & I)" is a song by Swedish electronic music duo Galantis. It was released on 5 October 2014 as the lead single from their debut studio album ''Pharmacy'' (2015). The song features uncredited production work by Svidden, as well as Julia Karlsson performing the chorus and Cathy Dennis performing two verses on heavily processed and uncredited vocals. "Runaway (U & I)" became Galantis' biggest hit single. In early 2015 it achieved chart success on the Australian Singles Chart reaching number four, and on the New Zealand Singles Chart, where it peaked at number six. "No Money" is a song by Swedish electronic music duo Galantis. It was released on 31 March 2016 as the lead single from their second studio album, ''The Aviary'' (2017). The song features uncredited vocals from Reece Bullimore, son of Beatbullyz's Andrew Bullimore and is written by Digital Farm Animals and Andrew Bullimore. It samples the amen break, most prominently at 1:44. "Peanut Butter Jelly" is a song by Swedish electronic music duo Galantis featuring uncredited vocals from Martina Sorbara of Dragonette. It was released on 20 April 2015 as the fourth single from their debut studio album ''Pharmacy'' (2015). It became available on 4 April 2015 upon pre-order of the LP. It heavily features a sample of the 1974 single "Kiss My Love Goodbye" by Bettye Swann. Dan Caplen
Daniel Caplen (born 27 March 1992), also known as his stage name D/C, is a British R&B singer, songwriter and musician based in Brixton in London. He was educated at St Edmund's School Canterbury. He is signed to Atlantic Records UK and released his first track "Longing for You" on the label on 19 February 2016. ''Galantis'' is the debut extended play by Swedish electronic music duo Galantis, released on 1 April 2014. The album features two singles, "Smile" and "You". Singles Their first single with Big Beat Records, "Smile", was released that following November. Its controversial video premiered on Stereogum. "Smile" received several remixes from various artists, and an extended mix by dance music heavyweight Kaskade. In February, the duo released their second single "You". The track was subsequently played heavily at Winter Music Conference, becoming the 8th most Shazamed track at the festival. Galantis is a Swedish electronic dance music production, songwriting and DJ duo consisting of Christian Karlsson (DJ), Christian Karlsson and Style of Eye, Linus Eklöw. Ania Rebecca Scheja (born 26 January 1989) is a Sweden, Swedish actress, disc jockey (DJ), singer, songwriter and record producer. She is the daughter of Staffan Scheja, Staffan and Marianne Scheja and sister of Leonard Scheja. As a student she attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm.
