Svenljunga Municipality
Svenljunga Municipality (''Svenljunga kommun'') is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Svenljunga. The present municipality was created in 1971 when five municipal units (or parts thereof) were amalgamated. The number of original entities (as of 1863) is 14. Through the municipality the river Ätran flows in a scenic valley. It flows through the town of Svenljunga, where an old bridge crosses it. Mark Municipality (''Marks kommun'') is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in southwest Sweden. The municipal seat is located in the center of Kinna town. The municipality was created through the Municipal Reform Act of 1971 by the amalgamation of eight smaller municipal entities. Falkenberg Municipality (''Falkenbergs kommun'') is a municipality in Halland County on the Swedish west coast. The town Falkenberg is the municipal seat. The municipality was created in 1971 when the ''City of Falkenberg'' was amalgamated with six rural municipalities (themselves formed by the 1952 local government reform) and part of a seventh. There are 24 original entities within the area. Today, Falkenberg holds a strong position in the food and beverage industry with companies such as Arla Foods, Carlsberg and SIA Glass having plants in the city. Gislaved Municipality (''Gislaveds kommun'') is a municipality in Jönköping County in southern Sweden, with its seat located in the town Gislaved. The municipality was created in 1974, when Gislaved locality where amalgamated with the surrounding rural municipalities to form an entity of unitary type. Tranemo Municipality (''Tranemo kommun'') is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Tranemo. There are twelve original municipal units (as of 1863) in the area. The municipal reform of 1952 created four larger entities. The next reform was implemented in two steps with amalgamations taking place in 1967 and 1974, leading to the present municipality. The name comes from the bird ''Trana'', which means crane. Borås Municipality
Borås Municipality (''Borås kommun'') is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Borås. In 1971 the ''City of Borås'' was made a municipality (''kommun'') when the unitary type of local government unit was introduced in Sweden. Three years later many surrounding municipalities were amalgamated with Borås. In 1995 the western part was separated, creating Bollebygd Municipality.
