Suzy Aiken
Suzanne Elizabeth "Suzy" Clarkson (née Aiken) is an author and former New Zealand television personality, who was a news presenter at Prime Television from 2004 to 2010. She has appeared in the NZ drama Shortland Street, and produced aerobic workout videos and co-authored the book "Healthy Body Healthy Mind". In the late 1980s and early 90s she appeared on the show "Blind Date" where she was the hostess. She was the NZ presenter for the travel programme ''Getaway'' for four series and has a postgraduate qualification in broadcast journalism—and before moving into television was a qualified a physiotherapist. She became Suzy Clarkson after her marriage to Tim Clarkson in early 2006. She became the anchor and producer for ''Prime News First'' at 5:30 from its launch in February 2004. Prime is a New Zealand free-to-air television network. It airs a varied mix of programming, largely imported from Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. It was originally owned by Prime Television Limited in Australia. Prime later entered into a joint-venture agreement with Nine Entertainment Co. (Nine Network Australia), causing the network's graphics to look like Nine Network. On 8 February 2006, the Commerce Commission gave Sky clearance to purchase the station for NZ$31 million. Shortland Street
''Shortland Street'' is a New Zealand prime-time soap opera centring on the fictitious Shortland Street Hospital, first broadcast on TVNZ 2 on 25 May 1992. It is New Zealand's longest-running drama and soap opera, being broadcast continuously for over 7,500 episodes and 30 years, and is one of the most watched television programmes in New Zealand. The show was originally screened as five half-hour episodes each week and initially receiving mixed reviews on its premiere. Alison Mau () (born 14 February 1965), known professionally as Ali Mau, is an Australian-born New Zealand journalist and broadcaster. She is a former television news anchor, former co-host of the TVNZ current affairs show '' Seven Sharp'', former co-presenter of the consumer affairs show ''Fair Go'', and former co-host of TVNZ '' Breakfast'' programme. Mau is a former talkback radio host on RadioLIVE, a nationwide Auckland-based New Zealand talkback, news and sport radio network owned and operated by MediaWorks New Zealand. Metlifecare is one of New Zealand's largest retirement village providers. They currently own and operate 32 retirement villages throughout the North Island of New Zealand.
