Suzuka Point Getters
is a Japanese professional football club based in Suzuka, Mie Prefecture. They play in the Japan Football League. History The club was originally established in Nabari, Mie in 1980 under the name Mie Club, and it became a member of Mie Football Association to join the Mie prefectural league in 1982. The club went up to the top division in 1991 and remained there until 2005, when local organisers kicked off the idea of developing a larger and more ambitious football team. The region to the southwest of Nagoya has been traditionally very populous but still undeveloped from a football perspective despite a number of successes by local high school football. In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. In some leagues, playoffs or qualifying rounds are also used to determine rankings. The third-tier nationwide league is a relatively recent development in Japanese football with a first attempt made in 1992 (second division of the old JFL), though it only lasted for two seasons. The , more famously known as the , is a long motorsport race track located in Ino, Suzuka, Mie, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, Japan and operated by Honda Mobilityland, a subsidiary of Honda, Honda Motor Co, Ltd. It has a capacity of 155,000. Introduction Soichiro Honda decided to develop a new permanent circuit in Mie prefecture in the late 1950s. Mila Martínez
Milagros "Mila" Martínez Domínguez (born 23 April 1985) is a Spanish football manager. Early life Born in Cuenca, Spain, Martínez lived in her family's village, Fuentelespino de Haro, until she turned 18. Later, she played as a defender for a Spanish college team, as well as Segunda División side Fundación Albacete. She later went on to work as a coach, and then youth team co-ordinator, for Fundación Albacete. Managerial career After spending less than a year in Spain managing the women's team of CD Atlético Tomelloso, Martínez received an offer to manage overseas. She was appointed manager of Suzuka Point Getters in January 2019. With this appointment, she became the first female manager in Japanese men's football at any level.
