Sussex Women Cricket Team
The Sussex Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English Historic counties of England, historic county of Sussex. They play their home games at various grounds across the county, including Brighton Aldridge Community Academy, Brighton Aldridge Community Academy Sports Ground and the County Cricket Ground, Hove. They are captained by Georgia Adams. They have won 6 Women's County Championships and 2 Women's Twenty20 Cups in their history. They are partnered with the regional side Southern Vipers. History 1936–1996: Early History Sussex Women played their first recorded match in 1936, against Surrey Women cricket team, Surrey. Alexia Walker
Alexia Laurette Walker (born 26 November 1982) is an English former cricketer who played as an all-rounder. She was a right-handed batter and right-arm fast-medium bowler. She appeared in three One Day Internationals for England in August 2001, making her debut against Scotland. In total she took one wicket and scored 14 runs. She played domestic cricket for Sussex from 1998 to 2015. Berkshire Women Cricket Team
The Berkshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Berkshire. They play their home games at various grounds across the county, including Summerleaze Road, Maidenhead and Falkland CC, Newbury, and are captained by Ashleigh Muttitt. They competed in Division One of the Women's County Championship until 2017, when they were relegated, and they won the Women's Twenty20 Cup in 2010. They are partnered with the regional side Southern Vipers. Clare Connor
Clare Joanne Connor (born 1 September 1976) is an English former cricketer who batted right-handed and bowled slow left arm spin. She held the presidency of Marylebone Cricket Club from 2021 until 2022. She made her England One Day International debut in 1995 and played her first Test match that winter. She achieved a hat-trick against India in 1999 and captained England from 2000 until her retirement from international cricket in 2006. Rosalie Anne Birch (born 6 December 1983) is an English former cricketer who played as a right-arm off break bowler and right-handed lower middle order batter. She appeared in 7 Test matches, 37 One Day Internationals and 4 Twenty20 Internationals for England between 2003 and 2008.
