Jesús Joaquín Fernández Sáenz de la Torre (; born 19 November 1993), known as Suso (), is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right winger for La Liga club Sevilla and the Spain national team. Scouted by English club Liverpool as a teenager, he made his professional debut there in 2012, playing sparingly and spending a season on loan at Almería before joining AC Milan in January 2015. He was loaned to fellow Serie A club Genoa in January 2016. In January 2020, Suso was loaned to La Liga club Sevilla, before joining the club permanently in July of that year. He started his professional career with Tenerife, but was loaned several times to lower league teams until the end of his contract. Foday Musa Suso (born 9 December 1953, in Sarre Hamadi, Wuli District, in the Upper River Division of The Gambia) is a Gambian musician and composer. He is a member of the Mandinka ethnic group, and is a griot. Griots are the oral historians and musicians of the Mandingo people who live in several west African nations. Griots are a living library for the community providing history, entertainment, and wisdom while playing and singing their songs. It is an extensive verbal and musical heritage that can only be passed down within a griot family. Suso is a direct descendant of Jali Madi Wlen Suso, the griot who invented the kora over four centuries ago. Jali Nyama Suso (circa 1925–1991) was a kora player from Gambia. He had a program on Radio Gambia for 20 years. He had his first album in 1971 while he was teaching at the University of Washington. In the 1980s he toured in England, France, Germany, and Sweden. He also worked on the soundtrack for ''Roots''. Long before any of that he had been known in his native country. He did not fully live the tradition of a wandering musicians because he lost his leg at age 16, but by the mid-1960s became popular on radio. Alhaji Papa Susso (Suntu) is a griot or jeli, master Kora (instrument), kora player, and director of the Koriya Musa Center for Research in Oral Tradition. He was born 29 September 1947, in the village of Sotuma Sere in the Upper River Division of The Republic of Gambia, West Africa. The Susso family represents a dynasty of traditional oral historians and praise singers. His father taught him to play the kora, a 21-stringed, lute-like instrument, when he was five years old. Henry Suso, OP (also called Amandus, a name adopted in his writings, and Heinrich Seuse or Heinrich von Berg in German; 21 March 1295 – 25 January 1366) was a German Dominican friar and the most popular vernacular writer of the fourteenth century (when considering the number of surviving manuscripts). Suso is thought to have been born on 21 March 1295. An important author in both Latin and Middle High German, he is also notable for defending Meister Eckhart's legacy after Eckhart was posthumously condemned for heresy in 1329. The Sydney University Symphony Orchestra (SUSO) is the premier orchestra on the main campus of the University of Sydney. History Sydney University Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1948 by Donald Peart, and was known as the Pro Musica Orchestra until 1990. It is currently made up of around 80 musicians from all faculties across the university. The orchestra's home venue is the neo-gothic Great Hall in the university's sandstone Quadrangle.
