Susie Päivärinta
Susanne Elisabeth "Susie" Päivärinta (also ''Sussie'', born 10 May 1964) is a Swedish singer and artist of Finnish ancestry. She scored a number of hits in the 1980s and early 1990s with the duo Lili & Susie, with her sister Lili Päivärinta. Their most famous was their 1987 song "Oh Mama" which spent six weeks in the top five of the Swedish singles chart. They also competed at Melodifestivalen 1989 and in the Eurovision Song Contest with "Okey okey". In 1990, their song ''What's the Colour of Love'' also hit the top 5. The duo reunited in 2008 and competed at Melodifestivalen 2009 with the song ''Show Me Heaven'', which peaked at number 6 in the Swedish singles chart. Päivärinta wrote ''C'est la vie! It's Alright!'', performed by Lucia Perez, and ''Diamonds'', performed by Melissa, which were both featured at Eurovision Song Contest 2011. Kolmården Wildlife Park
Kolmården Wildlife Park ( sv, Kolmårdens djurpark) is a zoo that opened in 1965 overlooking Bråviken bay in Sweden. It is the largest zoo in Scandinavia, includes the first dolphinarium in Scandinavia, which opened in 1969 and has daily shows, and the world's first cable car safari. The wildlife park also has a birds of prey display and a seal show. In the Marine World area is a roller coaster called "The Dolphin Express". Another, larger, roller coaster in the park is Wildfire. History The zoo was conceived in 1962 by Ulf Svensson as a means of reviving the Kolmården Municipality, and was opened in 1965 with 210 animals in residence. Melodifestivalen 2012
Melodifestivalen 2012 is a Swedish song contest that was held between 4 February and 10 March 2012. It selected the fifty-second Swedish entry to be internationally represented in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 (ESC 2012). As in the editions between 2009–2011, a maximum of eight people were allowed on stage, while only persons of 16 years or over are eligible. However, in accordance with Eurovision rules, only six people were allowed on stage for the Swedish entry at Eurovision. The main singer(s) were required to perform vocals live on stage. However, other backing vocals can be prerecorded, along with the song's backing track. On 20 June 2011, SVT announced an open call for Melodifestivalen 2012, with some changes in the rules. Melodifestivalen 2014 was the Swedish music competition which selected Sweden's 54th entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. Sanna Nielsen won the competition with the song "Undo". This was one of the closest results in Melodifestivalen history, as Nielsen beat her nearest rival, Ace Wilder, by only two points. For the thirteenth consecutive year the competition consisted of four heats, a "Second Chance" round, and a final. A total of 32 entries were divided into four heats, with eight compositions in each. From each semifinal, the songs that won first and second place went directly to the final, while the songs that placed third and fourth proceeded to the Second Chance heat. The bottom four songs in each semifinal were eliminated from the competition. Spain participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "Que me quiten lo bailao" written by Rafael Artesero. The song was performed by LucÃa Pérez. The Spanish broadcaster Televisión Española (TVE) organised the national final ''Destino Eurovisión'' in order to select the Spanish entry for the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf, Germany. The national final consisted of two heats, a semi-final and a final and involved 24 competing acts. Three acts and nine songs ultimately qualified to compete in the televised final where an in-studio jury first selected one song per act to advance to the second round. In the second round of voting, a public televote exclusively selected "Que me quiten lo bailao" performed by LucÃa Pérez as the winner. As a member of the " Big Five", Spain automatically qualified to compete in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest. ''Aftonbladet'' (, lit. "The evening paper") is a Swedish daily newspaper published in Stockholm, Sweden. It is one of the largest daily newspapers in the Nordic countries. History and profile The newspaper was founded by Lars Johan Hierta in December 1830 under the name of ''Aftonbladet i Stockholm'' during the modernization of Sweden. Often critical and oppositional, the paper was repeatedly banned from publishing.
