Susie Porter
Susie Porter (born 1970 or 1971) is an Australian television, film and theatre actress. She made her debut in the 1996 film '' Idiot Box'', before rising to prominence in films including '' Paradise Road'' (1997), ''Welcome to Woop Woop'' (1997), '' Two Hands'' (1999), '' Better Than Sex'' (2000), ''The Monkey's Mask'' (2000), '' Mullet'' (2001), ''Teesh and Trude'' (2002), and ''The Caterpillar Wish'' (2006). Porter is also highly recognised for her roles in television series, most notably, as Patricia Wright in ''East West 101'', Eve Pritchard in ''East of Everything'', and as Marie Winter in the prison drama, ''Wentworth''. ''My Place'' is an Australian children's television drama series based on the award-winning picture book of the same name by Nadia Wheatley and Donna Rawlins. The series first screened on ABC3 on weeknights at 8pm from 4 December 2009 and aired in the United States on Vibrant TV Network. The Jesters
The Jesters were a doo-wop group based in New York City who achieved success in the late 1950s. They were students at Cooper Junior High School in Harlem, who graduated from singing under an elevated train station near 120th Street to the amateur night contest at the Apollo Theater, where Paul Winley discovered them and later signed them to his Winley Records. The Jesters' B-sides often rivalled the lead song. Their first three singles were arranged by frequent Winley collaborator Davey Clowney, better known as Dave "Baby" Cortez, and all — "So Strange" / "Love No One But You", "Please Let Me Love You" / "I'm Falling in Love" (both 1957) and "The Plea" / "Oh Baby" (1958) — made the lower reaches of the national pop chart, and generated considerable New York interest. ''Water Rats'' is an Australian TV police procedural broadcast on the Nine Network from 1996 to 2001. The series was based on the work of the men and women of the Sydney Water Police who fight crime around Sydney Harbour and surrounding locales. The show was set on and around Goat Island in Sydney Harbour. ''Water Rats'' premiered on 12 February 1996, and ran for six seasons and 177 episodes.
