Susan Christine Evans (born August 19, 1993) is an American television personality and former beauty pageant titleholder, who is best known for being the winner of The Bachelor (American season 26), season 26 of ''The Bachelor (American TV series), The Bachelor''. As a beauty pageant titleholder, Evans was crowned Miss Virginia Teen USA, Miss Virginia Teen USA 2011 and Miss Virginia USA, Miss Virginia USA 2020. Early life and education Evans was born and raised in Poquoson, Virginia, to parents Tom and Jean Evans. She attended Lindenwood University on a full scholarship, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in digital cinema arts and broadcast communications. The Miss Virginia Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Virginia in the Miss Teen USA pageant. Virginia is one of the more successful states at Miss Teen USA, and is placed in the top twenty in terms of number and value of placement Their most successful decade was the 1980s. No Miss Virginia Teen USA has won the Miss Teen USA crown, but their highest placement came in the first year of competition, when Tina Marrocco placed 1st runner-up to Ruth Zakarian of New York. Miss USA 2020 was the 69th Miss USA pageant. It was held at the Exhibition Centre and the Soundstage at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, on November 9, 2020. Akbar Gbaja-Biamila and Allie LaForce served as hosts, while Cheslie Kryst and Christian Murphy served as backstage commentators, and Haley Reinhart performed. Cheslie Kryst of North Carolina crowned Asya Branch of Mississippi as her successor at the end of the event. Branch is the second consecutive African American to win the title, and the fourth one in five years. This is Mississippi's first win at the Miss USA pageant. Branch represented the United States at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant and placed in the Top 21. Miss Teen USA 2011 was the 29th Miss Teen USA pageant. It was held at the Grand Ballroom, Atlantis Paradise Island, Nassau, The Bahamas on July 16, 2011. Miss Teen USA 2010, Kamie Crawford, crowned her successor, Danielle Doty of Texas, as Miss Teen USA 2011 at the end of this event. The 50 states and the District of Columbia competed for the prestigious title.
