Surendra Raj Pandey
Surendra Raj Pandey ( ne, सुरेन्द्र राज पाण्डे) is a Nepalese politician belonging to Nepali Congress. He is the current chief minister of Gandaki Province and was appointed to the post on April 27, 2023. Pandey is the Parliamentary Party leader of the Nepali Congress in the province and is member of from Gorkha 2(B). Pandey has previously served as Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly. He is also the Central Working Committee member of Nepali Congress. Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary ( ne, डिल्लीबहादुर चौधरी) is a Nepali politician of Nepali Congress and Chief minister of Lumbini government. 2022 Nepalese Provincial Elections
Provincial assembly elections were held in Nepal on 20 November 2022 along with the general election. 330 seats in the seven provincial assemblies will be elected by first-past-the-post voting and 220 by proportional representation. Electoral system The 550 members of the provincial assemblies will be elected by two methods; 330 will be elected from single-member constituencies by first-past-the-post voting and 220 seats will be elected by closed list proportional representation for parties gathering more than 1.5% of the votes. The National Assembly or Rastriya Sabha ( ne, राष्ट्रिय सभा; ) is the upper house of the Federal Parliament of Nepal, the lower house being the House of Representatives.
