Surendra Dubey
Surendra Dubey is an Indian poet and writer of comic poems. An ayurvedic physician by profession, Dubey was born on 8 January 1953 at Bemetra, Durg, in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. He has authored five books and has appeared on several stage and television shows. In 2010, the Government of India awarded him with the Padma Shri Padma Shri (IAST: ''padma śrī''), also spelled Padma Shree, is the fourth-highest Indian honours system, civilian award of the Republic of India, after the Bharat Ratna, the Padma Vibhushan and the Padma Bhushan. Bemetra
Bemetara district is a new district in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. The district was formally inaugurated by the Chief Minister, Raman Singh, on 13 January 2012. Shruti Singh, IAS became the first district collector. Bemetara has two administrative subdivisions, Bemetara and Saja. The present collector of Bemetara is Vilas Sandeepan Bhoskar, IAS. Demographics The district has a population of 795,759. Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes make up 18.1% and 4.67% of the population respectively. Durg is a city in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh, east of the Shivnath River and is part of the Durg-Bhilai urban agglomeration. With an urban population of 1,064,077, Durg-Bhilai is the second largest urban area in Chhattisgarh after Raipur. It is the headquarters of Durg District.
