Suraj Singh Thakuri
Suraj Singh Thakuri ( ne, सुरज सिंह ठकुरी) is a television presenter, actor, director and producer. He is currently a Chief Executive Producer in Kantipur Television Network. He is best known as the host of the longest running Nepali television talk show ''Call Kantipur'' which airs daily on Kantipur Television. After 10 years of running ''Call Kantipur'', he handed the show over to younger talents like Suraj Giri, Akesha Bista and Riju Shrestha. He has directed several music videos, also appearing in some. Education Suraj attended Adarsha Vidya Mandir, Lalitpur, Nepal and completed college at Xavier Academy science college (NEF). He has a master's degree in Environmental Science. Kantipur Television, popularly known as KTV, is a private television station based in Kathmandu, Nepal. The chairman and managing director is Kailash Sirohiya. Launched in July 2002, KTV is licensed for terrestrial and satellite transmission. Kantipur Television's head office is located in Tinkune. KTV celebrated its 14th anniversary on 12 July 2017. The company have run the next sister channel called Kantipur Gold from February 2015. The channel Kantipur Gold, however was stopped from December 2016. Online Khabar is an independent private online news portal of Nepal established in 2006, providing news in Nepali and English languages. There is no print available from this media house.
