Surabhi Lakshmi
Surabhi C. M., also known as Surabhi Lakshmi is an Indian film, television, and stage actress who appears in Malayalam films and television. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress in 2016 for portraying the role of a struggling middle-aged mother in the Malayalam film ''Minnaminungu''. She is known as Pathu through the Malayalam Comical Television Series '' M80 Moosa'' which launched on Media One TV. Personal life Lakshmi was born to parents Andy and Radha on 5 October 1987. She is from Narikkuni in Kozhikode, Kerala. She gained a BA degree in Bharathanatyam with first rank from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady. She gained a MA degree in Theatre Arts from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit and M.Phil in Performing Arts from Mahatma Gandhi University. The Kerala State Film Awards are the film awards for a motion picture made in Kerala. The awards started in 1969 by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala and since 1998 the awards have been bestowed by Kerala State Chalachitra Academy on behalf of the Department of Cultural Affairs.
