Suphajee Suthumpun
Suphajee Suthumpun is a Thai business executive. She is the CEO of the hotel business Dusit International. Biography Suthumpun completed a bachelor’s degree in sociology and anthropology at Thammasat University in Bangkok. She also holds a master's degree in business administration, specialising in international finance, from Northrop University in the United States. Suthumpun worked at IBM for over 20 years, and was the first woman appointed as general manager for the company in Thailand. She was later general manager of IBM ASEAN’s Global Technology Services Division. She has also held the position of CEO of Thaicom Thaicom Public Company Limited is a Thai satellite operator and provider of satellite and telecommunication services since 1991. Dusit Thani Public Company Limited, branded as Dusit International, is a Thai multinational hospitality company headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand. Dusit International has 36 hotels and resorts in 12 countries. Founded by Thanpuying Chanut Piyaoui in 1948, the company is now led by Suphajee Suthumpun. Financials Dusit International's FY2017 revenues were 5,570 million baht, up from 2016's 5,425 million. Net profits in FY2017 doubled from 2016: from 152 million baht to 332 million.
