Superstore (season 6)
The sixth and final season of the American sitcom '' Superstore'' was ordered on February 11, 2020, and premiered the same year on NBC on October 29. Created by Justin Spitzer, the series continues to follow a group of employees working at Cloud 9, a fictional big-box store in St. Louis, Missouri. The ensemble and supporting cast features America Ferrera, Ben Feldman, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nico Santos, Nichole Sakura, Kaliko Kauahi, and Mark McKinney. Production for the season began in September 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a test for Universal Television, it was decided that ''Superstore'' would create episodes set during the pandemic. In December 2020, it was announced by NBC that the season would serve as the show's last. After filming concluded in February 2021, it was revealed that Ferrera, who had left after the first two episodes, would return for the series finale. Charles Stone III (born 1966) is an American film director. He is best known for ''Drumline'' starring Nick Cannon, '' Mr. 3000'' starring Bernie Mac, and '' Paid in Full''. Stone directed the video to " What They Do" by The Roots, featuring the group running through many rap video clichés.
