"Superstar" is a song by Nigerian recording artist Ice Prince, released by Chocolate City on April 22, 2011. It is the second single from the rapper's debut studio album, ''Everybody Loves Ice Prince'' (2011). The song reached number 1 on charts across Nigeria and the continent, but did not achieve the same level of astronomical popularity that its predecessor " Oleku" had. Even so, many observers of the music industry noted the song as one of the most notable Nigerian songs of 2011. Panshak Henry Zamani (born 30 October 1984) better known as Ice Prince Zamani or just Ice Prince, is a Nigerian rapper, hip hop recording artist and actor. He rose to fame after releasing " Oleku", one of Nigeria's most remixed songs of all time. He won the 2009 Hennessy Artistry Club Tour. His debut studio album ''Everybody Loves Ice Prince'' was released in 2011. It was supported by three singles: "Oleku", "Superstar" and "Juju". In 2013, Ice Prince released '' Fire of Zamani'' as his second studio album. The album contained the singles " Aboki", "More", "Gimme Dat" and "I Swear". ''Everybody Loves Ice Prince'' (abbreviated as ''E.L.I'') is the debut studio album by Nigerian rapper Ice Prince. It was released by Chocolate City on October 9, 2011. The album's production was primarily handled by Jesse Jagz, along with additional production from M.I Abaga, Wizboyy, E Kelly, Samklef and Chopstix. It features collaborations with Brymo, Wizkid, 2 Face Idibia, Jesse Jagz, M.I, Yung L, J-Milla, Samklef, Wizboyy, Morell and Sean Tero. Chocolate City is a Nigerian record label founded in 2005 by lawyer Audu Maikori along with Paul Okeugo and Yahaya Maikori. Jesse Garba Abaga (born 10 August 1984), known professionally as Jesse Jagz, is a Nigerian rapper, record producer and songwriter. He signed a record deal with Chocolate City in 2010 and released his debut studio album ''Jag of All Tradez'' that same year. He voluntarily exited the Chocolate City deal in 2013 and announced the launch of his independent label, Jagz Nation. Jagz released his second studio album ''Jagz Nation, Vol.1.
