Aksel Schaufler better known by his stage name Superpitcher, is a German producer affiliated with Cologne's Kompakt music label. Background Superpitcher made his first appearance on Kompakt's ''Total 2'' compilation album in 2000 with the song "Shadows". In 2001, he contributed a track to Kompakt's first Speicher 12" and released ''Heroin'', a three-track 12" with three different sounds; "Tomorrow" was later included on that year's ''Total 3''. On 2002's ''Total 4'' there was another track by Schaufler, an electropop cover of Brian Eno's "Baby's on Fire". Soon after that, Schaufler released his second 12", ''Yesterday'', which featured re-workings of the songs "Tomorrow" and "Heroin". He also made another appearance that year on Kompakt's fourth Speicher 12". Since stepping out, Schaufler has done steady remixing work for the likes of Dntel, Carsten Jost and several others. The Golden Ravedays
''The Golden Ravedays'' is the third studio album by Aksel Schaufler under his alias of Superpitcher. It was released by his label Hippie Dance over the course of 2017, with one 12" "chapter" vinyl record released at the end of each month (barring ''The Golden Ravedays 12'', released mid-December.) The album has been described as autobiographical, inspired by all of Schaufler's favourite musical touchstones. Schaufler wished to release all of the songs included within in their original lengths, which necessitated the release of a series of 12" records. The end of 2017 saw the release of a boxset called ''The Golden Ravedays Collection'' that included all twelve 12" records with a poster and book; the 12th installment was also released in an edition that contained the box, poster and book for those who had already purchased the other 11 installments. Kompakt (Labelcode: LC 12012) is a Cologne-based electronic music independent record label and vinyl/CD distributor, owned by Wolfgang Voigt, Michael Mayer (musician), Michael Mayer and Jürgen Paape. They specialize in microhouse and minimal techno, and are known for their ''Total'' compilation series which reached its seventeenth installment in 2017. History Kompakt originated from a techno record store that was opened in Cologne in 1993 (under the name "Delirium") by Wolfgang Voigt, Reinhard Voigt, Jörg Burger and Jürgen Paape, who were soon joined by Michael Mayer. ''Kompakt: Total 3'' or ''Total 3'' was released on 31 July 2001. The album is the third installment of the influential Cologne-based microhouse label's annual compilation of vinyl releases and exclusives from its biggest artists and most promising newcomers. Vinyl and CD editions are quite different since only six songs are included on both formats. All tracks on the vinyl format were previously unreleased when the compilation came out. "Departures" was since included on Closer Musik's album After Love, "So Weit Wie Noch Nie" was since released on 12 inch, both on Kompakt in 2002. It was this album that introduced the worldwide electronic music scene to the Cologne minimal sound which was to be dominated by Kompakt releases. The Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (), commonly abbreviated to simply FIB, is an annual music festival that takes place in the town of Benicàssim, in the Valencian Community, Spain. It focuses mainly on pop, rock and electronica artists, as well as short films, fashion shows and art. FIB has a reputation of being among the best on the international festival circuit. The festival begins on the second Tuesday of July, when the camping grounds open, although music officially commences Thursday afternoon. "Baby's on Fire" is the third track on English musician Brian Eno's 1974 debut solo album ''Here Come the Warm Jets''. Writing and recording Eno recorded "Baby's on Fire" during the ''Here Come the Warm Jets'' sessions in September 1973 at Majestic Studios, London, where he had previously recorded the majority of his earlier material. The track was produced by Eno, who handled production and mixing duties on the bulk of the album's recording, and was created with musicians Simon King, Marty Simon, Robert Fripp, Paul Rudolph, and John Wetton.
