"Superlove" is a song recorded by American singer Tinashe. The song was released by RCA Records on July 15, 2016. It was co-written and produced by Tricky Stewart and The-Dream. Background and composition "Superlove" is a pop and Miami bass song inspired by the 1980s and 1990s era. Tinashe Jorgensen Kachingwe ( ; born February 6, 1993), known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer, dancer, and actress. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, Tinashe moved to Pasadena as a child to pursue a career in entertainment. Her notable roles included as a motion-capture model in the animated film ''The Polar Express'' (2004), Robin Wheeler in the Cartoon Network television series ''Out of Jimmy's Head'' (2007–2008), and a recurring role in the CBS series ''Two and a Half Men'' (2008–2009). Urban contemporary music, also known as urban music, hip hop, urban pop, or just simply urban, is a music radio format. The term was coined by New York radio DJ Frankie Crocker in the early to mid-1970s as a synonym for Black music. Rhythmic contemporary, also known as Rhythmic Top 40, Rhythmic CHR or rhythmic crossover, is a primarily American music-radio format that includes a mix of EDM, upbeat rhythmic pop, hip hop and upbeat R&B hits. Rhythmic contemporary never uses hard rock or country in its airplay, but it may occasionally use a reggae, Latin, reggaeton, or a urban contemporary gospel hit.
