Superlitio
Superlitio is a Latin rock band from Cali, Colombia formed in 1997. Its members are Pedro Rovetto (bass), Pipe Bravo (Lead Voice, keyboards and guitar), Alejandro Lozano (guitar), Armando Gonzalez (drums) and Dino Leandro (Machines and Ukulele). History With four independent records including the multi-awarded ''Tripping Tropicana'' (produced by Tweety Gonzalez, the same behind Fito Páez and Gustavo Cerati) and their latest album ''Calidosound'' (producer by the multi Grammy winner Rafa Sardina), the band has participated and headlined a wide variety of international festivals, reaching all corners of Colombia, Latin America, Latin US and Central America. Tweety González
Fabián Andrés González Amado (born 1963 in Buenos Aires, Argentina), known by his stage name Tweety González, is an Argentine musician and record producer. González is mostly known for playing the keyboard for Argentine rock band Soda Stereo and Argentine musician Fito Páez. Tweety is also a music producer and has worked with artists Shakira, Gustavo Cerati, Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Superlitio, Famasloop and several others. Dog Eat Dog (2007 Film)
''Perro Come Perro'' (English: ''Dog Eat Dog'') is a 2008 Colombian thriller film by director Carlos Moreno. The film depicts the violence among the low life, crime filled life of some criminals in the city of Cali. The film was shown at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. The soundtrack of the film included a song by Colombian band Superlitio. Plot Victor Peñaranda and two other men torture a man known as "El Mellizo" (The Twin) in order to recover the money stolen from "El Orejón" (Big Ears), the leader of the underworld of Cali. Don Pablo, intermediary of "El Orejón" and the thugs, orders a search for the money around the house. Peñaranda finds the money and decides to steal it, claiming he did not find any money inside the house. Meanwhile, "El Orejón" attends the funeral of his godson William Medina. Molotov (band)
Molotov is a Mexican rock band formed in Mexico City in 1995. Their lyrics, which are rapped and sung by all members of the group, feature a mixture of Spanish and English. The band members also switch instruments and roles depending on what song they are performing. Biography The band began in 1995 when two friends, Tito Fuentes (guitar) and Micky "Chicho" Huidobro (bass), started playing together. Javier de la "J" Cueva and Iván Jared "La Quesadillera" Moreno joined them in September of that year, becoming the first line up for the band. Illya Kuryaki
Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas (IKV) is a musical duo formed in 1991 consisting of Dante Spinetta and Emmanuel Horvilleur, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The duo split in 2001 to follow solo careers, but later performed together several times, and officially reunited in 2011. The duo took their name from a fictional character, the Soviet spy Illya Kuryakin in the hit 1960s TV show ''The Man from U.N.C.L.E.'', and the Colombian football player Carlos Valderrama. Gustavo Cerati
Gustavo Adrián Cerati (11 August 1959 – 4 September 2014) was an Argentine singer-songwriter, composer and producer, considered one of the most important and influential figures of Ibero-American rock. Cerati along with his band Soda Stereo, were one of the most popular and influential rock and pop groups of the 1980s and 1990s. Cerati was the recipient of many awards throughout his career including various Grammys, MTV awards, as well as the MTV (Latin America) Legend Award with Soda Stereo, the first of its kind. Rock al Parque is a free rock music festival which has taken place in Bogotá, Colombia, since 1995. It typically gathers more than 50 bands and as many as 400,000 spectators.
