The Supercopa de España Femenina or the ''Spanish Women's Super Cup'' is a super cup tournament in Football in Spain, Spanish football, contested by the winners and runners up of the Copa de la Reina de Fútbol, Copa de la Reina and the remaining highest ranked teams from the Primera División (women), Primera División that had not already qualified through the cup final. History From 1997 to 2000, four editions of the Supercopa were played between the winners of the Primera División (women), League and the Copa de la Reina de Fútbol, Copa de la Reina, with Levante UD (women), San Vicente CFF winning its first edition, Atlético Málaga the second, Eibartarrak FT achieving the third edition and Levante (after absorbing San Vicente) winning the last. The 2022–23 Supercopa de España Femenina was the fourth edition of the current Supercopa de España Femenina, an annual women's association football, women's football competition for clubs in the Spanish football league system that were successful in its major competitions in the preceding season. FC Barcelona Femení, Barcelona defended the title after defeating Real Sociedad Femenino, Real Sociedad 3–0 in the final, to win the competition for a record third time. CFF Puebla
Extremadura Unión Deportiva Femenino, formerly known as CF Puebla Extremadura and later as Extremadura Femenino CF, was a Spanish women football club from Almendralejo. History Extremadura Femenino was founded in Puebla de la Calzada, Badajoz in 1995 as Club de Fútbol Femenino Puebla. It won the national championship in 2000, beating AD Torrejón in the final, and it was the runner-up in 1999 in 2002, second to CD Oroquieta and Levante UD. CFF Puebla also reached the national cup's final in 2001 and 2005, but lost both times to Levante. Also known as Club Irex Puebla for sponsorship reasons from 2005, the team gradually declined through the 2000s, and suffering from financial strain in 2008 it merged with AD Las Mercedes to form Extremadura FCF, moving to Almendralejo. Las Rozas de Madrid (or simply, Las Rozas; ) is one of the largest townships and municipalities in the autonomous community of Madrid, Spain, with an area of 59 km² (22¾ sq. mi.). It is located 20 km (12 miles) northwest of the city of Madrid itself, on the A-6 freeway to A Coruña. Power Horse Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Almería, Spain. It is the home ground of UD Almería, and holds 15,274 people. History Inaugurated on 31 July 2004 and originally built for the 2005 Mediterranean Games, the stadium cost around €21 million, which was paid by the '' Ayuntamiento de Almería''. It subsequently became UD Almería's home stadium, replacing Estadio Municipal Juan Rojas, with the latter being used by the reserve team. The stadium was expanded from 15,000 to 21,350 after Almería's promotion to La Liga. Levante Unión Deportiva Femenino is the women's football team of Valencian football club Levante UD, based at Ciudad Deportiva in Buñol and playing in the Liga F.
