Superbutt is a Hungary, Hungarian Rock music, rock and Heavy metal music, heavy metal band. The Budapest-based act started up in 2000, and has released five full-length albums in English language, English, as well as a 4 track EP and a bonus disc for their latest album with 4 new songs in Hungarian language, Hungarian. Superbutt has toured all across Europe since 2001 and played over 600 concerts in 15 countries. Biography The early years (2000-2002) Singer András Vörös formed Superbutt in 2000, after he left his former act FreshFabrik. The band was named after the keyboard player/composer Gergely Buttinger, who – although he did not become a member – handed over his demo material on a no brand cassette tape that only said "Super" and his name on the label. The players in the first line up were drummer Béla Gábor, guitarists Zsolt Szentpéteri and Lajos Szöllősi (later replaced by Szabolcs Szűcs) and bassist Salim Mahboubi. The Sziget Festival ( hu, Sziget Fesztivál, ; "Sziget" for "Island") is one of the largest Music festival, music and cultural festivals in Europe. It is held every August in northern Budapest, Hungary, on Óbuda Island, Óbudai-sziget ("Old Buda Island"), a leafy 108-hectare (266-acre) island on the Danube. More than 1,000 performances take place each year. The week-long festival has grown from a relatively low-profile student event in 1993 to become one of the prominent European rock festivals, with about half of all visitors coming from outside Hungary, especially from Western Europe. It also has a dedicated "party train" service (with resident DJs) that transports festival-goers from all over Europe. The second event (1994), labelled ''Eurowoodstock'', was headlined by performers from the original Woodstock festival.
