''Super Senior'' (Chinese: 长辈甜心) is a Singaporean family drama produced and telecast on MediaCorp Channel 8. The show aired at 9 pm on weekdays and had a repeat telecast at 8 am the following day. The drama began production in February 2015 and made its run from 18 June to 15 July 2015. It is partly sponsored by the Media Development Authority of Singapore. Plot Zhu Xiangdong (Zhu Houren) owns a bakery and leads a life of material comfort. He is married to Yu Fang (Xiang Yun) for years but they remain childless. Yu Fang knows that her husband is a womaniser but she condones his philandering ways. One day, she finds out that Xiangdong has impregnated one of his staff. Yu Fang wants the child to have a complete family and decides to file for divorce. Xiangdong's cousin, Wang Dali (Wang Yuqing), has a crush on Yu Fang for many years. Henry Thia (; born 25 February 1952), also known as , is a Singaporean actor and comedian. Career Thia was a member of the main cast of ''Comedy Nite'' throughout its run. Although he had many roles in various sketches, his most memorable role is probably Lion King in the sketch series ''Liang Ximei''. He made a transition to English television in 2004, where he played the recurring role of Georgie Gan in ''Police & Thief''. The Star Awards for Best Evergreen Artiste is an award presented annually at the Star Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1994. The category was introduced in 2016, at the 22nd Star Awards ceremony; Chen Shucheng received the award for his performance in ''Super Senior'' and it is given in honour of a Mediacorp veteran artiste who has delivered an outstanding performance in their field of profession. In order to be nominated for the award, the artiste must be over 50 years in age and has garnered over 25 years of performing experience in the industry. The nominees of the award are still eligible to run for other performing categories. The nominees are determined by a team of judges employed by Mediacorp; winners are selected by a majority vote from the entire judging panel. The Dream Makers II (Chinese: 志在四方II, often abbreviated as ZZSF2) is a 32-episode Singaporean drama produced and telecast on Mediacorp Channel 8. The show served as the year-end blockbuster for Channel 8 in 2015. The show aired at 9pm on weekdays and had a repeat telecast at 8am the following day.
